Mink, brother, thank you for what you do and the message you convey. At the present time, I no longer have this glorious beard you see in my profile pic that you and your company helped me with for many years and it was pretty epic. I can always grow it back and perhaps someday I will. However, it wasn't the beard or product that kept me as a customer as much as it is and was your ongoing positive messages about not being the victim. It's about being accountable for ourselves in all aspects of life. I think a lot of guys need to hear this. So, please do keep it up. It is appreciated!

@@anthonymink - Keep up the positive vibes buddy! ALL of us need a constant, humble reminder that we are nobody until we become somebody. We must all be accountable and responsible for ourselves in all aspects of life. It is easy to point blame at others for our health, happiness, wealth and well-being. At the end of the day, we ALL have shit to deal with and it is up to each of us to deal with our own. Keep the messages coming.

Totally agree. I’m a big fan of their beard products, but I especially loved the brotherhood community that they formed as well.

Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate you! I feel like we are currently living in a culture that celebrates victimhood and blame and I think its we need to change that! What was your favorite part of the episode?
@Maxons767 ай бұрын
@@anthonymink I just realized my reply never showed up, so I'll try submitting it again. I agree whole heartedly today's culture is one of victimhood leading to a sense of entitlement. It sure seems like most do not understand that choices have (or in today's "let 'em go" society, SHOULD have) consequences and it's up to them to take responsibility for their actions and start making better decisions. I firmly believe in helping people when you are able to, but I do not agree with someone else telling me I have to help out people...especially ones I do not know and/or do not agree with their life choices. Enough of my soap box. Many years ago, my youth pastor taught me how it's better to respond than to react in most situations. I still have times I react instead of stopping and formulating a proper response and that gets me into trouble, but I still try every day to do better. One of my favorite sayings is a play off another...."Don't just do something, stand there!". When I remember to do this, it really helps recenter my emotions and realize life doesn't always have to be go, go go! So sorry this was so long, but I could go all day! Again, Thank you for being vulnerable and taking the time to help others. I will be continue to watch the rest of the series as I can. Live Bearded Brother!

@@Maxons76 bro, I love the comment, and completely agree… The reason why I wanted to start the show to begin with was because I know that it’s the choices we make that determine the life we live. We will never control our outside circumstances, but we will always control how we react and respond and how we react or respond is far more important than what we’re reacting or responding to. Thank you for your support and for following along, I really appreciate it.

Hey Darron! I’m grateful my podcast has been helpful. What has connected with you the most?

First, you being vulnerable with your life struggles. The principles you talk about I really believe people need to hear and practice. Things happen in life and we could all victims of our circumstances. Until we can wrap our head around life is happening for me not to me we will probably stay the victim of our circumstances. We do need to take complete responsibility for our lives. Ask why and search for the meaning it will help you not be stuck for so long. Learn to observe behavior and not react. I found this just like you found the book on the plane (Courage), because maybe being the teacher myself I needed a reminder of this, because of my circumstances right now.
