my first pet was a squirrel that we rescued. i think hampsters are a better option XD we got a rabbit after we released the squirrel. then we got budgies after the rabbit died. then we got fish after we gave the bugies away. then we got a dog. then we got 2 cats. we got 2 more dogs. then 3 more cats. then a helluva lot more cats cause the cats we had started having litters. so trust me when i say a hampster isnt as bad a first pet as people might think XD
