I've replaced all the defective and scratched items, total cost zero (based on the insurance). Also I've been able to switch some accessories with no costs either (like skidplate and engine guard). Greetings

Te salut! După cum am putut compara calitatea Hepco&Becker pe propria piele, pot spune ca sunt o alegere foarte bună. Pentru NC mi-au placut si cele de la SW-Motech. Orice alegere ai face intre cele două ar fi peste varianta OEM. Multa bafta si multumesc pentru comentariu!

I went with sw motech because of it just looks much beefier than the original crashbars and skidplate. And is under 1/3 of the price. Honda original accessories is overpriced for sure. Even when comparing barkbusters vs original honda handguards. Price is about same. But barkbusters can take some beating. Mine survived a young lady fresh on car driving license backing in to me so me and the bike fell over og asfalt. She learned to check mirrors very fast. I had no space to get out of the way. I do like those crashbars you have changed to. When it is wider like that it does not lie down so flat on the ground.

SW-Motech also a great choice, much better as OEM. I went with Hepco&Becker because I had great experience with the upper crash bar after a fall, and I saw it's quality, I was not mistaked about the rest of the accessories either like Skidplate and Engine Guard.Greetings !

Do you think the lower crashbars would provide enough protection for the fairings without the upper bars? I don't like how upper bars cover the Transalp logo.

In combination with proper handguards (Barkbusters or Acerbis) and depending on the way the bike falls it could provide the protection. Anyways, even with the upper crash-bar we don't have the guarantee that the fairings with get away with it. It depends on the crash dinamic, landing surface and so on.

Thanks for the response. Love your channel. I ordered Barkbusters for the bike and am considering the Hepco lower protection. Do you think SW Motech upper guards fit with Hepco lower bars? They use similar brackets that attach to the frame, from what I see in the pictures. Sw bars don't obstruct the Transalp logo, which is something I care about. ​@IdealBike

@7erdogdu I've asked Sw-Motech about compatibility with other accessories they haven't provide the answer. While Hepco-becker accessories are compatible with any Oem accessories.

@IdealBike Good . Well, it's not good that you crashed, but you're ok to ride another day . I really like this bike for the whole package, but I also like the new 2024 BMW 900 GS . A little lighter more h.p. like 105 h.p. I believe that's what they are claiming . I'm pretty sure it has a better suspension, but like they say, you can't have it all . I'm not saying the suspension is totally bad on the transalp . But I'm sure traveling on that Honda would be better. Just have to pick better lines on the transalp due to clearance, but if you keep the speeds around 15 to 20 mph, it does ok for itself . Would it be fun to go faster, sure . If you build the suspension better, then the longer rides, you suffer a little more on comfort . All I would do is put on Brigdestone Battle AX tires and upgrade the engine guard and lower guard . I can care less about cruise control . Throttle locks always served me just fine . Due to I was a Harley Davidson fan but sick of tired them saying a better year but nothing but plastic junks on it for big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ . Like their plastic manifolds . For a 30k+ bike . But I had nothing but Super Glides so cruise control I never had . My throttle control is my right hand . Great video brother happy and safe 2024 riding season unless you don't get winters like I do .

@brianrahuba6919 I will test ride the new F900GS next month, it will be available for test ride. I like too the new F900GS it has a great package, the only think that pulls me out it's the 14 litre tank, I don't know how much milage you can squeeze out of it. You really need to drive it economical to reach at least 300 Km... But usually that's not the purpose of the bike it was build for off-road riding. Usually the BMW customers are persons with high income working on they jobs each day until the weekends when they make couple of Km to compensate that they're not ridding the bike. Or someone how just wants to really enjoy this bike exclusively off-road and be able to reach also some close destinations around hometowns.

hepco & becker looks awesome except the skidplate (looks ugly compared with OEM one which looks like jewellery) .

This I thought at the beginning, but now I love the Hepco&Becker, also due to it's quality, I recommend that you touch one just to notice the quality difference. It's twice as thick as the OEM, better materials....
