Just a small language fact, since I think it's brought up a couple times: the kanji for "bird" (tori) and "crow" (karasu) are very similar: 鳥 and 烏 respectively. The only difference is one extra line in the top part. It's considered that the extra line symbolizes the bird's eyes, and "karasu" doesn't have it there cause crows are black, and so dark eyes aren't really visible on their heads. Kiyoko is supposed to be [conventionally] pretty - the author of the manga mentioned that they struggled drawings characters like her and Oikawa because of it x)

I love guessing the VA for characters in anime I've never seen before and always get mindblown everytime there are characters that sound totally different from other characters they voiced! I'm super late with this comment (I'm doing a marathon of you guys) but I just wanted to say that Noya's little blonde hair is natural and if I recall correctly there was a time where he dyed it to look like his other natural darker hair, then I guess he let the dye wear off. Okay, the jump float serve. The way you make it move without spin is just that, you don't make it spin. If there's spin, it will drive the ball in a specific direction. But you don't want that! You want it to be erratic, unpredictable. So you apply no spin, which makes the ball run headlong into air resistance, which will move the ball wherever it dang well pleases. Even the server won't know exactly how the ball will move. You can't do that with spin.

to be fair, most people, especially if they don't at least have knowledge of the sport, or even similar sports (such as the knuckle ball in Baseball), wouldn't know how to hit the ball in a way that it doesn't have spin, especially enough to where it would become a floater. in my opinion, the hardest part about doing a float serve/knuckle ball is to make it not spin in general, once you learn how to keep it from spinning, usually you'll be able to do those tricks fairly easily

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. I am so glad to join u on ur journey. I am a big fan of Haikyuu!! It's really a well written story. I am focusing more on BTS these days so have not been watching much anime. But i love rewatching with u. =0] This one has great comedy and lots of feels too. I am currently watching Naruto Shippuden. i am up to the filler and paused. That pause has lasted years, lol. But I did finish Naruto and Bleach. Bleach just got new episodes so I started to watch that. I am so glad ur having fun. Love this section in the story. Great characters. Teddy is adorable. =0} The Fly tat sounds cool.
