Gregg! It was a pleasure meeting & serving you this week in Austin/Bee Cave at the restaurant you frequented. Your legendary music is just that. Legendary. Keep beating & making artistically diverse music. Thx for being gracious & kind. 🙏Nicole

I think the first time I really heard about Gregg was in an issue of Modern Drummer in the early to mid 80’s. They mentioned his work with these people I’d never heard of, Maynard Ferguson and Brandon Fields, and there was a floppy 45 record insert of a couple tunes and charts of the drums. I worked on that for years as a kid, and burned my bad interpretations of those crazy licks into my own style. I’ve bought all of his VHS and DVD tutorials over the years, and I especially loved his solo CD’s and the Jughead CD from the 2000’s. Thank you Gregg for all you’ve done for me and millions of others. My life is better because you are here. ✌️ ❤️

I really appreciate it when you add the window of you counting the 3/4 time because it adds another dimension to the complexity of what you are playing. I look forward to new material on your channel in 2024.

When are we gonna get you back to Abbotsford for another date with Drumeo? I'd love to see you come up with a drum part to a song you've never heard before. It's the most entertaining series on their channel.

I've been drumming since the mid 80's and discovered you not long after. I really started to love your drumming after I saw you perform at the Buddy Rich Memorial concert. Not too long after that you released an Instructional video. That video was so great and it showcased how much range you have with your knowledge of genres. You are easily (in my opinion and obviously many others) the best all around drummer in the world. I honestly can't think of another drummer that could play fast heavy double bass and then a slow swing with a breakdown where you pull out the brushes. To me you are the only drummer who can play metal or jazz equally convincing. Most have either heavy hands or lite hands, you my friend have both!

What a great video. Looking forward to hanging out with you next wednesday with Robert. Were gonna have fun. Maynard was my first concert. I ran sound for Edgar Winter in the late 90's and picked him up from Seatac [he had me stop at KFC and he got only legs].

HEY GREGG!! Great video, 2023 was a very good year, for sure! I loved you playing the intro to 'Friends' from my favourite Satch cd. Is there any chance you can make a video of you playing the live version of Rubina(from Time Machine), and..any/all songs from The Extremist? I would happily love to watch you playing these songs. :) Anyway, I hope you had a great Christmas, and New Year's! Looking forward to the new year, and more great stuff from you and Drum Channel! Take care!!
