Years ago, when our cars were simpler than today, my Father knew cars well from his background in Germany before he left there as WWII approached. We did work on our cars like you do, such as Oil changes, brake replacements, and engine work. Now that he is gone many years, and I am 80, I miss those days. 😊

Your dad looks like a very nice guy. I can see he is proud of his son. I like the pit in your dad's garage. I have a lift that I slide under my car and it lifts the it up about 2 feet 60.96 centimeters. I have worked on my cars all my life. I even have built race cars in my garage at home. I have worked in factories and built many things. In the 70s I even made parts that are on the Voyager space craft. I am a Christian so I am praying for your dad. May our Lord Jesus protect your dad. Guide the doctors so they restore your Dad and fix what ever is the problem. My God restore him to 100% good health so he can be back fishing soon Amen.

Yes Dan, 1000% YES about fishing with your Dad Video!! & I agree 💯 with what your Dad says about Fishing!! 🎣 My Dad was also a Fisherman and there wasn't anything about fishing that he didn't want to SHARE!! There were 7 of us kids and he made sure we all had training in fishing and each of us had our own gear and own Unique pole!! I would sit on a HUGE rock where we used to go camping every year, and I was maybe 8 -12 but I sat in the same spot Fighting a huge Rainbow Trout for years! I even named him "Oscar". I wore a pink spot onti that rock because I was in my bathing suit in case I went in!😂😂 it was 4 years before I caught/fought him (because he would always break my line or manage to get away)! I FINALLY caught him, & boy was he HUGE....I gave him a good talking to, gave him a kiss, and returned him to the Water!! Lol HE was the only fish that didn't make it on the dinner table!! Your Dad is correct, there's just no more calmer feeling a person can receive, than Fishing!! 🙌🎣🐟❤ Again, YES to a Fishing Video with Papa!!

My ex boyfriend of many years ago had a Lada. Russian car in Canada. 🤪 I watched for 2 summers as his car sunk halfway up the tires into the soil next to one of their big vegetable gardens. They ( his parents) had 2 big veggie gardens. My ex boyfriend used to till the gardens up for his parents every summer.

I'm so glad you're able to be with your Father and, know him. I didn't have a Father figure most of my life, only my Gradnfather and, my Mother. This time you spent with him was good for you both and, for us. (I felt as if he was my Father too.) Thanks Dan! BTW, I do anywhere from 35-40 oil changes a week at work, on many high end vehicles and trucks, most of which I could never afford. (Oh, you left a rag in the engine bay!) I can see the love for what your father does with everything that is about fishing flow through your fathers hands, as he touches and moves things around in his garage. His garage reminds me of an artists studio. Set up as a perfectionist would. Always able to find anything that he needs instantly. Great! His hands move gracefully. Almost like a musical conductor trying to get the symphony to play gently.
