It's funny, watching this made me contemplate on how incredibly heavy Yoda's conscience must be. For 900 years he trained and taught fellow beings into becoming jedi, always knowing he would be there to see them rise, stand proud... and eventually fall. Either through an early death or from old age. Yet he always remained with the jedi, teaching, hoping, that the next generation would make for a better tomorrow, always realizing that they, in turn, would fall as well. In the end, he saw all that he worked so hard to create fall to pieces. Everyone he cared about dying in front of his eyes.. and there was nothing he could have done. Still.. those lonesome nights at Dagobah must have been like torture... for 900 years he taught Jedi... and now they were all gone. Well, almost anyway.

Weeeeell, technically there wasn't "nothing" he could do - Anakin's descent was pretty obvious once you watch TCW... not to mention it's pretty unbelievable nobody thought that the Sith was in the senate somehow and investigated it considering how much the Sith always seemed to know. But I still understand what you're saying, his exile on Dagobah must've been miserable.

When you look at Yoda's vision in the cave you see anakin in the charge of jedi fighting the clones so, Hypothesis Time. Anakin was not always destined to turn to the dark side but instead would have been a survivor of Order 66 orchestrated by Palpatine and another.
