Okay this is kinda long BUTTT AU that’s Moana-like where Lance is a water god and Keith is an ocean loving prince and meets him thinking he’s human one day when he’s like 10, but meets him again once he’s 16 and still thinks he’s human and visits him everyday and overtime fell in love and Lance shares the feelings but they hide it well from eachother and Keith doesn’t tell anyone because Lance literally begged Keith to but when he gets crowned as king when he turned 18 Lance says it’s okay to tell them and Keith introduces him but everyone just bows down, identifying Lance as a water god which Keith could not because his parents are catholic but know they shouldn’t force religion on the people so they just teach Keith about the lord and shit instead of the islands gods. Once Keith is informed by his assistant that Lance is a god and has been lying to him for all these years and Lance just mouths sorry and Keith runs away, knowing his favorite person lied to him for 2 years. They don’t meet again for a year and Keith starts getting super depressed and soon the poor boy starts getting anxiety attacks monthly but when Keith has an arranged wedding with the beautiful yet TEN YEARS OLDER THAN HIM, Allura , from another island, Lance appears at their wedding. A goddess who has an unrequited love for Lance is enraged knowing Lance would go to Keith and say he loves him, so the goddess, nyma, angry and heart broken, crashes the wedding. Knowing he isn’t as strong as The Sun and moon goddess, Lance battles her anyway. Nyma is super mad she has to fight Lance but half of the reason is because gods aren’t allowed to fall in love with humans so Lance loses and he’s killed. Nyma offers the water god job to Keith, she’s sad and guilty but she knew it had to be done. So she made a decision Lance would’ve wanted her to do. Keith accepts but then uses his new found power to give Lance half his heart and revive him, and in the process half the power of a water god. They live in harmony and Nyma recovers and gets over Lance after a few centuries. They marry at the island and has this water show and Keith knows he can’t be the king anymore and passes it off to him cousin Shiro who leads the island to victory for many wars and marries Matt, a common boy with an intelligent and clever mind. Allura doesn’t care because she is queen. Literally. And she also leads the island very well and later finds love and a good life. So what do you think? If anyone will actually turn this into a fanfiction tell me because I spent an hour thinking of this. I’m a fucking sucker for god x human shit okay
