I have a lot to learn about streaming. I'm not tech savvy. I am still, in a way, an analog chick living in a hi tech world! lol From overlays to equipment to well,almost about everything!lol I am very eager to learn and willing support anybody I can. Back in the 80's, I was a drummer in a metal band. Back then, I was a handful of female drummers. I am currently living in Oklahoma with my husband, who I actually met on Xbox,btw. We have 4 grown kids between us. Also, 4 cats (yeah,so pretty much a zoo!lol) I wouldn't trade my life for anything in the world. I am truly blessed!,I am a recovering addict and alcoholic. Crack and heroin since 2004. And 2011 with the alcohol. I am very lucky to be alive today;I should've been dead years. I am very open and blunt honest about my addiction. I am not ashamed about it. My mission for streaming the specific thing that makes me want to be a streamer on Twitch, a KZbinr/content creator is that I strongly feel that I have a platform by giving inspiration,hope and support for those that are struggling with addiction,alcoholism,and mental illness.The stigma of addiction,alcoholism , and mental illness has to stop. Plus, I deal with depression,anxiety and panic attacks at times. But,that's ok. It's what life throws at me and THANK GOD I have an awesome support system, I rather feel something,whether be positive and also negative than just to numb them like I was doin' for years. I want to educate those that are going through the struggles about the disease for themselves or if friends or loved ones that want to help but they don't know what to do or at they even feel hopeless. Addiction/mental illness just does those that are in the throws of it,it effects EVERYBODY around the addict,alcoholic,etc. The last thing is I want to do is to build a community, an ARMY that is positive,supportive,inspiring,uplifting, unjudgemental for those struggling or even if they are in recovery themselves do what they can as well or need some maintenance to keep their recovery. Definitely,give back to the community for individuals and charities,such rehabilitation programs or other organizations. I want to enlist people in the Queen's Light Brigade . I want US , YES, US, THE QUEEN'S LIGHT BRIGADE to create a wildfire of change and diminish the darkness in the world! Sorry for the novel,btw! I am truly passionate about this. I want to show others,whether they are struggling with addiction,mental helath issues or not, THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT GENUINELY CARE ABOUT OTHERS and THERE STILL IS GOOD IN THIS WORLD despite all the wild,crazy,scary,dark times WE are living in. @RocketQueen71 creating vids is fun for me. I am on a zero dollar budget so must and do finde wayes to save a dollar at every turn . Free video clips, free programs. Every bit of equipment emoloyed here is free or used. It is a hobby that got turnt into a viable business. I do it for me, to suit me. When othre folkes like my efforts, to me, it is like gravy on my cake. Ever body likes cake. Everyone likes gravy.. win, win.. boom!
