In an interview with Angela Yee on the Way Up Show in the U.S., the 'Non-Living Thing' rapper revealed that he initially recorded the track as a personal reply to Yvonne Nelson's memoir, "I AM NOT YVONNE NELSON."
Sarkodie explained that he recorded the diss track with the intention of keeping it private and giving himself time to contemplate whether to release it publicly.
