Yeah I get she does a lot of builds for people to be able to download, but there's still a vast majority of viewers that could download the CC houses especially if it's these 'packs'. Plus I'd like to see what she can do given all these tools.. like being able to make a custom couch however big she wants and so on.

@@marieriorden6776 $200? It's $700 for every pack at full price, and that's not including tax and the base game.. Sims is insanely expensive and always has been. They try to justify it with "Well you don't *need* all the packs." While that's true, who want's to play with just the base game? Things like seasons, get together, parenthood, etc are all things that should be part of the base game.. The only expansions I really agree on are things that aren't "life simulator" like realm of magic, vampires, etc.

The $700 you spent on Sims could get you a decent gaming computer.. lol. Though there is the fact that people drop a few here and there for packs.. but that's *IF* you were there from the start.. if you weren't you're paying $700 right now for all of it.. that's why Sims is one of the most pirated games.. lol It's one of the most expensive overall.

It is true. They don't seem to know how to mute colors but still have them.. so instead of something just being orange it's like neon orange. So bright you see it and can't stop seeing it.. I like color, but I don't like bright in-your-face colors.. I want to walk into a room and see blue but not be slapped by it and just stunned like "Wow.. that's *blue*.."

@@SpiceQwin Yeah it's nice to have those bright or neon colors sometimes, but most of the time I just want a nice like pale yellow. I don't want the furniture to look like a highlighter exploded on it though. The nifty knitting colors got a bit better, but they're all so specific to a space. Which is another issue.. I feel like most of the time nothing really blends outside of it's pack. Like Nifty Knitting stuff doesn't really blend well with stuff from another pack.

What about a build challenge where you have a set amount of time (2-3mins) to "shop" for furniture/lights. Then, you have to build the shell and furnish the house with what you picked out, not being able to go back to purchase other items and needing to use everything you pulled out.

I really like this idea!! I do think it would be best to do 1-2 minutes per room. You could also include having to shop wall colors and floors as well. I would think of it as almost a play on the no mistakes challenge because you have to shop quickly and not forget anything vital

I think they named it “Jardane” because this pronunciation is kinda close to the one you make when you (by “you” I mean native English speakers) try to pronounce the French word “jardin”. Yeah.. and there's really no reason why. It's not like these items impact performance anymore than others. Having more options and variety (like a left, right, and center part of a couch separately) is something you'd think is common sense. But Sims never seems to do that.. CC though always does.

I too have been suckered in with the gorgeous mods out there...egged on by yourself! I use the Kichen, Jardane, Tiny Twavellers packs constantly. They are refreshing, well-done and add loads to gaming! It needs a little finesse sometimes to keep these working, especially when EA does an update, but the developers release their own updates and keep us all going. My sincere thanks to all the mod developers! The talent in this community is amazing to say the least.

The alternative terms you are looking for other than “neutral” colors is muted colors or toned colors. If I recall right while tinted is color + white and shade is color + black, toned should be any color and grey is mixed in. It reduces the color hue vibrancy and saturation.

I love using CC. I only have the base game since all the packs are $$$. And I looove building but there are only so many of the same kitchens and living rooms I can do with the base game so I use CC. I've become obsessed with Peacemaker's kitchen and living room sets - I highly recommend trying out his CCs!
