Ok From what I understood, Geto was traumatized by Riko's death. Gojo may have not been as affected because he wasn't there. Riko was legit killed right in from of Geto and he couldn't even kill her murderer. To make matters even worse, he witnessed non-sorcerors celebrating her death; applauding for her dead lifeless body. Gojo becoming the strongest and Shoko becoming an invaluable doctor meant that Geto was now by himself on all his missions, meaning he's alone most of the time. Leaving someone who's depressed and has PTSD alone is usually a terrible idea. Yuki is somewhat to blame only because she gave Geto his mission in life but I think Geto was going down this path eventually. I think Gojo had a huge part of the blame because he never noticed that Geto was struggling even though that's his best friend.

Great points. The clapping when Gojo was holding Riko’s death and the people smiling was definitely disturbing. That’s also part of why I like Gojo less now. It’s weird to me how he doesn’t care about who dies anymore, yet at the same time he said life was so beautiful when he had his awakening. Geto also was so right when he said Gojo is telling him he can’t do something that he himself could do.

He mostly just sold megumi for the money but also in the manga when he died it explained that he sort of wanted the best for Megumi but i guess didn’t want to be a dad so he told the Zen’in clan that rejected him for having no cursed energy that if he killed teen gojo megumi would be head of clan. Of course when toji gets finished by gojo this can’t happen so he thought the next best thing would be for him to get stronger in Jujutsu High.

I really do think it was partially Yuki’s fault for Geto going down the Dark side but honestly it probably would’ve happen anyway after seeing Nanamis partner Haibara dying after speaking to him being excited to have a purpose just to die shortly after

Ahhh I see. I didn’t know that Megumi becoming head was conditional on Toji killing teen Gojo. And I never even considered how that conversation with Haibara affected Geto, wow! The blood on his hands in that scene made me feel like he felt some sort of guilt for that.

Gojo was just cocky and a bit indifferent towards others because of the way he was raised I guess. And he didn't have any friends untill Geto. After losing Geto he changed a lot. Still cocky tho but way more considerate. Fun and chill too. He cares for his students a lot too. You saying you like him less now is hurting me ☹️

It's more or less crossing lines means you can justify it to yourself, this is just his breaking point of humanity being trash. His answer & even the question doesn't need to make sense. Tragic. Also Toji stuff comes later dw about the Megumi stuff yet.

@DBG-Reactions I think it's all made so much worse just because not everyone has it equal, I don't think he thought about it but I would struggle standing next to Gojo & then having the opposite reaction to the same situation. Great reactions btw.

For sure. I thought about it and I think I get the question more. I think it’s tied to Geto questioning whether Gojo has his own motivations and thoughts on what they do, beyond being a sorcerer and a member of the Gojo clan. Geto, unlike Gojo, seeks meaning and can’t ignore the purpose of what he does. Gojo, on the other hand, was born into power and I think Geto suggested he is who he is because of that. Not the other way around. If he were the strongest because he was Gojo, it would mean it was a product of his own ambitions. Instead, Gojo is sort of an instrument of the Jujutsu society, although I am aware he is dissatisfied with how they operate. And thank you! My favorite part of uploading is talking with you guys in the comments.

@DBG-Reactions I also enjoy chatting lol, I read the comments also & most often I see one favour Gojo or condemn him not seeing the signs but there friends who imagines friends being capable of that. At best he may have chatted like Yuki did & delayed Geto tho humans won't change, so as I see it there was no right answer. Unfortunate but true. 10/10 flashback & needed for Geto.
