Hey Ian! In regard to your “Hog Rider of the day” question, I don’t think it’s a bad idea, but there is a couple things you might wanna think about. I used to do something very similar on an old social media account of mine and one of the pit falls I ended up running into was that daily “words of wisdom” after a month or two can start to dry up. Don’t get me wrong, you’re clearly a smart, hardworking guy who has wisdom to share, but there comes a point when you share that wisdom on a daily basis where it gets harder to come up with stuff. It becomes much less about sharing a wise word and more so about content creation because there is a daily expectation. If you personally believe you have enough daily things to share for the long-term foreseeable future, go for it! I’d just warn you that it can feel very discouraging when you feel like you have to start to force wisdom/positivity for the sake of commitment. Building off that, I’ll leave you with three solutions that might work for you! 1. Keep Hog Rider of the day, but don’t feel like you have to put it in every video you upload. Sprinkle in Hog Rider’s of the day every so often when you’re feeling encouraged or moved to speak up about something. This might make HROTD feel more genuine and allow it to be something you’re presently passionate about. This could be a couple times a week, once a week, twice a month, etc. 2. Consider posting the HROTD in your KZbin post section (the section where you can upload something similar to a tweet, I’m not sure what it’s called on KZbin) As long as it doesn’t mess up anything with your algorithm or page aesthetic, this would allow you to really put your thoughts on paper and write it out rather than speaking during a Clash Royal match. You might have a smaller audience for them, but they’d be much more committed! 3. Lastly, consider posting the HROTD in the comments and pinning it, or on some other social media account of yours like an Instagram. This would allow it to be included, but it’s in a very specific spot for the people who’d like to read them. It also allows you to write out your thoughts which can be more fruitful at times (at least for myself) Those were just some thoughts. This comment is way longer than I expected it to be! Haha, I'm not as skilled as ian but I can try breaking it down for you. Just think about the match ups in a bigger sense, what's the type of game you want to play? Different archetypes have VERY different playstyles. Take 2 of the most common examples beat down and cycle decks. With cycle decks, you rely on the quickness of your cycle and very keen precise placements and timings to beat your opponent. It becomes a game of rinse and repeat, however you don't really pack a "punch", it's moreso continuously chipping away at your opponent. Beat down is the opposite, you don't care for small damage and are very happy to trade in tower hp for elixer, since you want to start up and build one big push and make sure it gets across all defenses. Now how does this information apply to what side to push? Let's put these 2 decks up against each other. The beat down player wants to play in the same lane as the cycle deck player. Why is this? Well when you start your big push your opponent suddenly has a lot of elixer while you banked yours in the back for offense. He's gonna try to attack you before anything happens. Say he throws a hog into the lane you put your golem down, you can defend the hog rider with say an e-drag, the golem marches forward and the edrag follows. 4 elixer hog rider got taken down by a 5 elixer e-drag, except now his push contains a whole extra 5 elixer (while he only had to actually use 1). It'd be much more practical for the cycle player to put that hog the opposite side, so that the golem player now has to split his forces, being unable to create as big a push he desires; thus making it more manageable to defend. This is just one example out of the hundreds of match ups you can make up. For you I'd recommend watching content from top players (Just look up crl streams on youtube) and notice what the pro player wants to do in the game depending on what match up he has. Ask yourself why is he pushing this way? Couldn't he have done that? Then try it out in the game and see for yourself by trial and error. Hope this helped!!

@@secondlife2908 It really depends on your other cards in the cycle deck. Say your opponent got only zap and log and you're playing firecracker then in that situation yes you should. Since then you're taking 5 elixer out of your opponents hand (maybe some damage from a hit you might land) and you can easily counter with the firecracker to kill the barbs and then defend the push. It's very situational. But as a general rules yes you do want to do that, especially if your building is a bombtower since then it'll first kill all the barbs and then also continue to defend the golem other lane

I think for broken evos like barbs or recruits, they should add an extra cycle before it gets evo. You just cycle once and your next is evo just like that, its broken. And for weaker evos it should just be 1 cycle.
