I do agree that it is messy, but my main problem with the mod is that it was based on an actual song and didn't utilize key elements of that song. One of the most important melody of the track was not there. There was a lot of potential and it was kind of a letdown.

I honestly do like most of these sounds. I also love the choir sounds here but the issue there is that there's too many. One of the people who review this also said it too. The visual were pretty great but has alot of bugs with it like Beat 5. Also, as Charlles voiced many of these characters, they were all made well af. 4th voice still sounds like Capitan from XRun lmao But yeah, this mod review points out every stuff I wanted to say for this mod.

For the people who are hating on the guy who made this. dont. its his first mod and animators sometimes yknow arent that good at coding. Some of the designs are weird but thats what makes this mod unique. Other than the sprite glitches and like 2 or 3 sounds, i love this mod, it doesn’t have a copied style or a general style like how xrun has a pirate theme and evadare is halloween and etc, this has its own unknown genre and thats what makes it a good mod. If the creator can fix the sprite errors id give this a 10/10 but since its not its a 9/10-9.5/10 truly an awesome mod

One of my main issues with the mod is the lag on some mobile devices. I believe this is due to the atrociously large spritesheets and large jsons. Another gripe I have is the sounds. Most of them dont mix well with eachother (like melody 1 not following the main chord progression on his first loop, and effect 1 and effect 3 clashing with different basslines). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've read on Discord that IA was deadset on releasing the mod in August, and this might've caused some aspects of the mod to be rushed/unfinished. I hope they can fix it in future updates.

This mod is very glitchy and stuff, however the compiler Boogo X Seal had to compile the mod in 20 hours, and Incredibox Animator wasn't on for 16 hours of coding so they didn't know what to do for half of it. 3. Honestly I like the mod and praise it for going all out with acapellas and vocals and sounding great but while I didn’t come across any bugs myself, I do have issues that make this less fun for me to use compared to something like Travis, Void or Veda. First of all as K42 points out, despite being based on an actual song (piege by Saro), this mod feels completely different to the song similarly to what happened with two faces. Heck a lot of sounds weren’t in the song! The volume balancing is not good. Melodies sound like Choir and effects sound like melodies. Also, Piege to me has the opposite problem that I have with the last day that the effects are way too overpowering! (Not that I’m saying the last day is bad at all! Certainly not!) Tldr, I love the sounds a lot but I can’t really mix with this mod. More power to those who can however!

Well, I looked at every point of the mod that I made in my TXT Review about the mod, it looks like it was released in a hurry, it's not normal to launch it with these technical problems, which are even a beast to be able to fix, even more about the problem of the merely exaggerated sprites that the game even lags on some devices, even more so that the sprites like beat 5 give a small poorly done cut, and there's the part of the sounds, that this bass is very low (it's not for nothing that it's called bass) But anyway, piege is a good mod, it's not perfect because of the abrupt release (which also doesn't have bonuses being that I thought it wouldn't have), and even though it's not nearly like the original music, it's still a very cool mod

Honestly, I don't care if the mod is based in a song or not. As long as the sounds are good and you can create a hit I'm all for it. That said, I love how the mod sounds! Easily one my favorites! To be honest, Travis is one of the most boring mods effect-wise. I like when effects add A LOT to the song. Soulgem and Augury are good examples, even if the former does need soke adjustments. Travis is just meh with the effects. Melodies are perfect though. And voices, my favorite mods are Bonfire, Two Faces, and Xrun. Those voices just slap!

No offence but Effects aren’t supposed to be the main focus of songs, they aren’t supposed to add a lot. Also I feel it’s my own opinbut I feel both Augury and Travis have really good effects. Effects are hard to categorise but IMO, they are supposed to provide small things like ambience, transitional sounds, short but powerful impactful noises or achieve what melodies and beats can achieve when combined together. It’s not supposed to be anything major and over the top imo
