Akai is definitely a good pick for the current meta. After the revamp, he was suddenly one of my favorite tanks and roamer to use probably because of how much damage he deals now. Aside from that, his skill set now consists of two stunning skills which are the first and the ultimate skill which I think is a really solid skillset to have in many various situations and can even be used to destroy many heroes in one vs one situation. Plus, his ultimate now gives him a high movement speed which makes him much easier to use. Overall, for me, this panda became one of the most versatile, and enjoyable tanks of all time again mainly because of the damage he deals with and the additional cc skill he has now.

The great thing about this Akai is that you can play multiple roles at once. You can be the Roamer/Jungler/Fighter. You can be tanky yet also deal a lot of damage. The build I use for Akai is: Tough Boots(Switch to Radiant Armor in Late Game), Thunder Belt, Cursed Helmet, Guardian Helmet, Oracle, and Twilight Armor. A build set which I use to melt soft backline heroes and also tank for the team.

I remembered when I play as akai and enemy used Hylos as roamer. They start playing aggressively since early game and I can't protect my jungler properly because you need to level up to lvl 2 to use combo stun on old Akai

I think this new Akia has more damage than the past one because the time I played the new Akia I just solo the enemy marksman and the damage is insane though Edit: one thing I remember you can also do the stun lock on the river bush area with the enemy at the same sides of the wall I just remember it HAHAHAHAH cuz my enemy back then has a Johnson and Alpha rides with it when js use his ult the I ambush them on the river bush area then our fanny just finished her job HAHAHAHAH

During late game, when they're hiding inside their towers in their base, you can use your 1st skill to dash through wall and use your ult to push them out into your teammates. I build Akai really tanky, with 2 regen def items since I'll only be tanking and pushing enemies plus 2nd deals decent dmg that its enough to steal any kills lol

A good thing to learn about new Akai is the 1st instant Ult combo. Instead of pressing ult after rolling from 1st skill, press it WHILE rolling. You wont get the delay animation of ult

Been an akai user since past 7 seasons and still love him. Akai is 100% effective at jungle clashes. Also i still do petrify/support (skill cd reduction skill) emblem. Flicker would be good if you really need to carry the bad core that cant even kill their squishy backline. I flex my akai to my viewers as 1 hr stunner old/revamped. But i prefer the old akai for mobility tho.

I may try Akai too. I've been practicing Bele and Gloo as my tank if ever my team doesn't pick a tank, I'll be the one to do it. Gloo is fun to play too.
