Thanks for reacting. What staggers me about this performance is how young they were to go out and sing in front of this vast crowd: Miyeon was 20, Soyeon and Jaira were 19, and Madison was only 18. Also, the girls (or at least Miyeon and Soyeon) did the motion capture work beforehand for their on-stage avatars. Finally, (G)I-DLE are currently on their world tour and they are performing POP/STARS as part of their set, with Minnie, Yuqi & Shuaua sharing Madison's & Jaira's lines.

This is only one part of the whole ceremony, because this year Korea hosted Worlds the theme is Kpop both this song and the 2018 anthem got Kpop artists to join and collab with riot. Its not like every year is worth watching but this year and 2019 are 2 ceremonies i think you should watch the full length, since it shows alot of planning and cordination between performances

While some other League of Legends stages did involve holograms, there were none in this performance. Holograms would be visible to the naked eye, and these were not; they were mixed in into the camera feed in real time, and this is called Augmented Reality (AR). The audience could see Soyeon, Miyeon, Jaira and Madison, and the dancers, but not the K/DA members directly; however, they could see the same thing we are seeing on the giant screens to each side of the stage; you can see them clearly at 3:07.

4... and 3... are Evelyn. She is the one with the sunglasses and long nails in K/DA (animation).

Vocal stability? Riot simply had enough of no autotune disasters.
