I Am So Fed Up With STIR-FRIES!!....

This past week I have eaten a version of a stir fry every single day! Why? well that's the level of dedication I have to you bunch of marvelous people. I decided to punish myself by developing 2 different stir fry recipes in the same week, so I am well and truly sick of them at the minute. But, you are not crazy and so you'll only make this once or twice a week!
This stir fry uses pork, which is cheap and accessible to most. You could easily make this vegetarian if you wanted to, by swapping out the pork for mushrooms, tofu or extra veggies.

To make my chilli pork stir fry you will need:
Feeds 2 hungry adults
►4 x pork loin steaks (about 500g)
►200g of medium egg noodles
►200g of mangetout or sugarsnap peas
►1 small onion
►1 small chilli
►2 cloves of garlic
►2-3 tbsp of dark soy sauce
►1/4 tsp of MSG (optional)
►2 spring onions (optional)
►1 tbsp of veg or sunflower oil

I love the accompanying music & the music is NOT a distraction!! I am hopeless at stir fries but will give yours a go & it is so simple which I believe is the key. I have a "menagerie" of Asian ingredients in my pantry & do I know how to use them = NO! We don't have mangetout in Australia, only sugar snap peas, so that was interesting re the age differentiation. I love your vids & look forward to them weekly!!!! I do believe the Executive Chef needs to make a visual appearance at each vid 😆

I think i'll probably make it 50/50 like this video. I don't want to bore you with all the details of filmography theory, but music is good for breaking up a video and actually re focussing peoples attention. Adam - just found your channel and subbed. I've been lucky over the years to pick up cookery skills and recipes, so there's a good amount of stuff I can do in the kitchen. But for a lot of folks these days, they don't have that knowledge - and that's what's keeping them buying expensive pre-packaged meals rather than making good value home cooked food themselves. I’ve been binge watching your videos and really enjoying them. I didn’t notice this one had no music! Too busy concentrating on the recipe. I think if your current format has got you to 40k+ subscribers and your video has landed in my suggested channels, you’re doing something right. My thoughts are do what you like because you can’t please all of the people all of the time. If you had 6000 views and 4000 said change the music I would probably consider it but all I can say is, your videos are great so leave them alone. Mind I haven’t made any recipes yet! 🤣🤣

I honestly didn't notice until you mentioned about the music, but I definitely found this video easier to follow than a lot of your other ones (which aren't *hard* to follow but the music does tend to scramble my brain a bit - ADHD/autistic/chronic illness brain fog stuff probably)

That sauté pan's a beaut, I can see why you like it! I lived on noodles and the odd bit of veg for ages when I was skint years ago, so feel your constant stir fry pain! It looks lovely though. I really liked the video with no music. It is distracting and I would think that anyone with hearing problems, like my great nephew, would find some videos with especially loud music, a real problem to hear talking. Your stir-fry looks very tasty, Adam! 👍🏻😋 WRT the music, I have to say that I've never found it irritating or distracting, and I always enjoy the end card music, it seems to be different with every video, but it's always happy and uplifting and leaves me in a good mood. I actually had to go back and watch a few of your older videos to pay closer attention to the background music, because I normally hardly notice it at all, and it's at such a low level, I don't see how anyone could find it irritating. I would also like to add that I'm a retired professional pianist and music teacher, with a mainly classical background. One effect of this is that I tend to pay closer attention to background music than most non-musicians, (or, at least those with whom I'm personally acquainted), and in the case of your videos, I don't find the background music distracting in the least, let alone irritating. As far as I'm concerned, your use of background music is absolutely fine! 👍🏻

Okay so a little bit of music at the beginning is fine. Don't know what B Roll means though as I'm sure it ain't bogroll. 😊 Otherwise it is distracting or, worse still, so quiet as to be just like someone next door to you playing it. 😉 Good recipe but I expect you'll go a few weeks now without going near a stir fry

The red pork is called char sui. There's many recipes out there but I've not attempted it myself yet. But you could use it for sure

Your stir fry looked cracking! I frikkin love stir fry mate, I fry up the old Tesco frozen Classic mixed veg, A couple of chopped up butchers choice chicken breasts and a cheap tesco chow mein sauce, Bang in some noodles and it does it for me, Super cheap and tasty! 👌

Lovely recipe! I'd try it but I think the next stir-fry (tomorrow!) is due to use rice vermicelli and some 'Chinese curry sauce'. Re music: I'd rather lose it, and the 'humorous' cuts about time passing. Keep moggs though.
