To help explain the SBMM issues. People are tired of "competitive" now. Too many games have been beating gamers over the head with it, even in games where you wouldnt expect it to be so strict. People are tired of having to go 100% all the time

I'm okay with sbmm, that is what we have in ranked, what I'm not okay with is e o m m. I don't like my games being predetermined before I even press play! And this isn't even a conspiracy, this is raw truth that is already been put out by Mint Blitz. I used to play this game everyday, but when I realized e o m m was implemented, I could clearly see that I was losing five in a row on purpose, to get me to play longer! I won't be manipulated anymore. Thus I won't even play the game anymore

@@Hollowtide yea im very sad that i had to quit. Just couldnt do it after finding out EOMM is manipulative. The whole reason i play is for the competitive aspect in ranked. Then i saw my stats on halowaypoint, where it shows you what the computer predicted you would do K/D wise vs what you did. NAIL IN THE COFFIN for me right there. Never touching the game again until we confirm no EOMM. BUT THE DATA!!!! OHHH WONT SOMEBODY THINK OF THE DATA!?

I'll still play a round of firefight most days, mostly just to pad sp in the vain hope a good month on the exchange is just around the corner. The eomm drive me away from most PvP too though. Played a bit of the Delta playlist though. It would be nice to see some of those pulled into firefight, the maps are beauty.

I’m quite sick of halo infinite. I feel like season 5 was peak and it’s just gone downhill since. The devs cut corners at every opportunity. The map pool for most playlists have been diluted by forge made maps that don’t look as good as the ones made with the dev tools. The ma5k avenger is a weapon model that they made into an actual gun, sure it’s a new gun, but you can’t customize it or test it in the firing range which, not to mention it shared all of its animations with the ma40. Most of the new armor is banished/covenant themed which just feels out of place. We still can’t spawn in sentinels in forge, the flood palette looks nice but there’s no flood to fight, not even flood infection which should’ve been what the game mode was in infinite. The multiplayer story was slow paced with awful dialogue written as if their target audience was children and ended up being scrapped.

There probably won’t be a halo game the rest of the generation when you take in the studio restructure, hiring freeze, not to mention Microsoft road map of game releases, with gears e day most likely being the big game release for 2026 to celebrate the franchise anniversary I highly doubt they would release halo the same year gears drops, and the fact it’s halos first time on ue it’s going to have to cook for a long time to get that halo feel right.

With the amount of major games these days, there is rarely a perfect time to release a game. There is simply too much competition everywhere now to run from competition. So Halo Studios should just focus on making a great game that can compete with other great games.

@@Eastra3 it’s not about competing, it’s just basic understanding of business Microsoft is not going to release their two biggest ips in the same year to take away from each other it has never happened in both franchises history, they always release a year apart so each game gets the most pop it’s like if PlayStation released god of war and Spider-Man 3 the same year. The same will probably happen when the next elder scrolls releases too it will have a year to it’s self.

@ don’t get me wrong, I understand the logic behind it, and you most likely right about this in terms of trying to keep the two games from cannibalizing each other, if Microsoft can help it. I guess with all the other competitors, Microsoft can’t control them, but since they control both these franchises, they would prefer to release them a year apart so that both games get their huge first month numbers, investors get most of their returns, etc etc. Back in the day, games probably stayed hot for a year due to less competition, but now games may peak after 2 months. Them releasing Gears in the Spring and Halo in the Fall, would probably be more than enough time in between. Me personally, I’m perfectly fine with them releasing a new Halo in 2027, because I want them to perfect this game. I’m not in a hurry to start playing another half way produced game, and in this age of gaming, that’s typically the case for big titles.

Over 100 maps and the ranked playlist average add a maximum of 13 maps to a minimum of 9 maps in the ranked playlist this is pathetic. I don't even remember the map Pool for btb but all I remember is it was garbage until they added a couple Community made Maps. Like nevermind the variety of Aesthetics for the map in general btb just needs more maps same with ranked playlists. Objective Arena has over 30 Maps, but the best they can do is 13 to 9 maps for the ranked playlist is boggling my mind. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I subbed to you. Great content. I stopped playing CoD and infinite is a breath of fresh air for me. I was absolutely killing it in this game. No cheaters and it was just a great experience compared to what I was playing. I’m looking forward to streaming Halo Infinite and just enjoying gaming again.

And now we are potentially getting a Halo CE Remake/Reboot, with extremely woke dev's. Like yeah its going to be so good sure.

Hey hollow! been awhile since i engaged.. but your take on long it could be and how much longer we get to enjoy halo in our prime years is the exact reason why Im so vehement on my criticism of the community and how halo infinite has been handled. in my 30s and was sold the idea of having a halo for 10 years... infinite was a good experience, especially after the first year or so of the game with all the content it has now... to lose seasonality and go back to the drawing board for the next halo experience to be something we've already played before just now in ue5... is a gross insult to millenial players. I hope they hit a homerun, but it'll never sit right with how good infinite eventually was and could still be.

Pierre has done nothing up charge shop prices to push half baked events. I'm not really going to hold my breath, did that for too long the last 10 plus years and I'm pretty sure I suffered a little bit of brain damage while waiting for them to gain some semblance of sense.. Don't get me wrong I still think the franchise has great potential, it just doesn't seem very likely with those in charge and their ways of thinking at the moment.. I mean like come on, they change the studio name, and yet they continue to hire people who are questionably qualified for the positions of which they are being put into.. Until we're given an actual reason to believe otherwise, people should be open to expecting more of the same.. as much as that pains me to say. After all, watching a series that you've grown up with turn from a Titan of a franchise into struggling mess really shakes your confidence in the medium despite how much you wish otherwise.

I’m getting really angry pvp it feels unplayable for me none of my shots are not registered and the connection is terrible so are they messed up the connection again It wasn’t that bad ages ago and the way it’s going I’m just gonna stick to pve PVP unplayable skill base matchmaking every time I find a match level skill somehow getting about over 100 ping I never had this problem with the master collection I can find matches on mcc classic trilogy what is it over 20 year old games then? Infinite? It’s a joke 343 /Halo Studios makes one of the worst matchmakers ever I hope the next halo game matchmaking system is more better I want it to be like classic Halo matchmaking like Halo 3 I miss the lobbies when you load up a matchmaking and you can talk to people before the game starts and the voting system I want all that back in the next game, it doesn’t feel like halo matchmaking
