The fact that WBG is almost entirely comprised of highly achieving players (all of the original roster were at least worlds playoffs level at some point) yet they play like this is mindblowing

I think losing TheShy and WeiWei pretty much ended this team. Crisp was on and off and Light was steady at best but not better than other top adcs (ruler, guma, elk). It was pretty much Xiaohu, WeiWei, and TheShy making plays through their side of the map that enabled them to be strong enough to ignore their weaker botlane. Before WeiWei joined, TheShy couldn't play well with any other jgler and always inted hard because he had no one to cover him and play through him. WeiWei was arguably the best performing player on WBG throughout their Worlds run especially in the finals, it felt like he was the only one making correct plays and finding picks while his team collapsed around him.

I think it’s actually not that mind blowing. Think TL, too many stars and they collide. You truly do need some backup players who are just solid for a team to really shine.

@@billyjoe8185 I mean xiaohu was literally 1 v 9 carrying the team with wei wei, I don't think the shy played a big role in thier success. Even then if they had breathe, they would have probably had the same result or even better cuz breathe wasn't as bad as he is now.

Its also just world caliber players who know how to win, but they all have their own idea on how the game should be played. Theres no synergy on the team atm @@mbrown7325

I mean they did get Ale in, so it's kinda a turbo addition. but AL was already looking better since Tabe joined in Spring, and Ale joining just make them a legit good team now.

Tabe is really him bro one of the most surprising things about AL is just how many comps they play. Tabe did the same on Blg back at worlds I could not even fathom elk and on playing a senna lane in lpl and they did it vs gen g

Glad my boy Croco is doing well. I'd been saying forever he was pretty good just on bad teams. He was who I thought TL should've gotten over Umpti. Being on a Chinese team is definitely better for his career but he'd at least get some titles if he was in NA lmao

Exactly!! Been watching Croco since 2022 and he wasn't Rookie of the Year in 2021 and LSB's star player for no reason. It's sad how much he suffered in DRX with the musical chairs and yips to make it all worse BUT I'm really glad he's working with AL very well, not to mention he's playing together with Kael, whom I believed was one of the best supports in LCK (he was in fact, second only to VicLa on Rookie of the Year 2022 Award) 🥹 They were also so close to going to Worlds in 2022 but lost to DRX during Regional Qualifiers 😭😭

12:20 I would try out the support tank items on Skarner jungle if the clear speed is managable, going stuff like (Bami if you need it) > Warmogs > Knights Vow is something that sounds worth a try in my eyes
