I AM: The Bread of Life | Jonathan "JP" Pokluda

What’s the longest you’ve gone without food? What do you think is the longest you could go without food? This past Wednesday, we started the season of Lent, the 40-days leading up to Easter.
To embrace this season, we are starting a new sermon series called "I AM". To kick off our new series, JP teaches through John 6 where Jesus calls himself the bread of life, teaching us where true sustenance and life is found.

I think God has been talking to me about communion because I had a conversation with my colleague about communion earlier today, fast-forward to my devotion time, I read John 6 and 7. True Transubstantiation is a Catholic Christian doctrine. The Eucharist Communion Host must be Consecrated by Catholic Ministerial Priest only.

As True Universal Catholic Christians we have to be in a State of Grace to receive Eucharist. This means The Sacrament of Confession To a Ministerial Catholic Priest. assage From KJV bible 1 Corinthians 11:27-34 King James Version 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. 33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. 34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

Transubstantiation is a Catholic Christian doctrine. Only a Catholic Ministerial Priest has permission to Consecrate The Holy Eucharist.. This is all the more apparent when one considers the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. If any layman could consecrate the elements, Christ would suffer innumerable offenses in the Eucharist. Only someone who has been specially trained and who is specially trustworthy must be allowed to minister in this sacred event. We can see the disaster that would result if every Christian were able to consecrate the elements if we look at 1 Corinthians 11:20-30. The Corinthians were offending Christ in the Eucharist in such a way some of them were becoming sick and even dying. Given that this is how much God the Father values the Presence of his Son in the Eucharist, how could he possibly allow every Christian, no matter how sinful, improperly educated, heretical, or even mentally unbalanced to consecrate the elements? Innumerable disasters would result, and there is simply no way God would allow anyone other than a person specially trained in the proper administration of the sacrament to do the consecration.
