It's twisted to give props for their technical achievement because they reached this level through forced work, borderline slavery (and the japanese goes even further in this regard, so don't think Capcom is a "saint", far from it). As for DMC5 being better than previous games... sure, I don't think it beats DMC3, but it is definitely better than all the others
