And on consoles, Last of Us 2 is arguably the best looking game of them all. It's twisted to give props for their technical achievement because they reached this level through forced work, borderline slavery (and the japanese goes even further in this regard, so don't think Capcom is a "saint", far from it). As for DMC5 being better than previous games... sure, I don't think it beats DMC3, but it is definitely better than all the others

If you can, do it, you wont regret it. Epic action, melodramatic and emotional moments, comedy, lore not so in your face but is there to explore, amazing soundtrack. However, dont expect you much from the second game. XD if you want, play it out of curiosity, but you could easely ignore it and it wont make a change, playing it feels like a chore because of how badly designed it is. The main games are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. There is the reboot. There are a few manga chapters that expand on the story, also a 12 chapter anime.

Yeah the first DMC is quite different to the rest haha. I'd definitely advise skipping DMC2 as it's really unfun to play and adds nothing to the story. DMC3 is where the combat starts going crazy :D
