My Beatles' second song when I was seven. First had been "A day in the life". In less than ten minutes they blew my mind off and melted my heart forever. They've been close to my soul ever since. Even when they'll never know, nobody's ever made me happier. Love to you, boyz.❤

If you listen closely at the instrumental bit near the end, you can hear what sounds like an edited "Oompa Loompa, doompity-doompa" repeated again and again. Which is odd, considering that this song came before that movie even started filming.

@hasch575610 жыл бұрын
Paul King Well, depends on. Do you use the real life timeline or the Mobian timeline? The game came out 23rd of June 1991, well after the song. If you consider the Mobian timeline, the earth, now called Mobius, and all other pre-existing continuities were eliminated by the Super Genesis Wave. Therefore, the game is set right after the new-beginning of time itself, meaning that it would be impossible to compose a song before it.

Lennon explained the origin of this song in his 1980 Playboy interview: "The first line was written on one acid trip one weekend. The second line was written on the next acid trip the next weekend, and it was filled in after I met Yoko. Lennon got the idea for the oblique lyrics when he received a letter from a student who explained that his English teacher was having the class analyze Beatles songs. Lennon answered the letter; his reply was sold as memorabilia at a 1992 auction. So, both right

The song was written after the Beatles were going through fan mail, and they picked one out at random, which turned out to be from a school John had attended when he was young. And, the letter said that they were analyzing the lyrics of his songs in class. So, John wrote the nonsensical I Am The Walrus, largely based on The Walrus & The Carpenter by Lewis Carroll. " This seems the best explanation to me yet.
