This is probably my favourite zombies song in the whole franchise, there’s just something about the message of it and how ominous it is. The whole tone and vibe of the song just perfectly encompasses the 4 main characters journey and the sad yet inevitable end it was coming to. In beginning with the fast paced tempo is like they are still battling hard and on a mission but then half way through the song when the tempo and pace slows down and turns more melodic it’s as if they are realizing and accepting the fact that their deaths are inevitable and slowly coming to peace with it. To be honest, when this came out I honestly thought nothing of it. I didn't play Black Ops 4, but I did come to enjoy the EE songs, all except for this one. Not that I ever hated it, it just didn't connect with me in the same way that pretty much every one since WaW had done. A couple of years ago, I burned a CD with about 2 thirds of all the zombies songs on it (That's all it could hold, and with the technique I used, it was pretty much random which ones ended up on the CD and which didn't) to listen to in the car. Every single time this song would come on I would skip it, pretty much without fail. I recently started listening to that CD again and, as expected, skipped this song when it came on. This changed three days ago, and as of the time of writing this comment, I would go as far as to say that this is currently my favourite EE song of all. The first verse is quite clearly the part that put me off, because past that, in the choruses and especially the last third of song, I found a special type of beauty that cannot be described. You know it when you hear it, and I've found myself listening to this song on repeat for the past couple of days. Clark's voice is heavenly and the melancholic melody combined with the intricate, franticly rhyming lyrics resonates deep within my soul. Thank you Kevin and Clark

We have both crews put together for the first time ever, a decently good Easter egg, amazing wonder weapons, and a beautiful daytime map that you can actually see on. I get what you're saying, as 3 remakes is excessive, but you have to understand that Treyarch had a lot of budget cuts this year due to issues in development. We're lucky we're still getting the quality we asked for.

After giving it some thought. This entire song could be a reference to the poem "the well; the howler" by hp lovecraft. We know that lovecraftian stuff was a big inspiration to the later years of the Aether storyline. The poems themes are very much touched on in the movie Color Out of Space.
