I think the look Sukuna gave was more of a look of amusement. Mahito embodies what Sukuna told Jogo, to be selfish and live according to your nature/desires and you will achieve great power.

I do agree with you, from what the anime has shown so far Mahito is the only one who truly embraced the egotistical mindset that Sukuna preaches. All the other natural disaster curses were all about family/friendship while Mahito clearly never gave a single F about it, despite being an infant curse all he cared about was his pleasure and displeasure just like Sukuna is told to do.

Yuuji wanted to understand Mahito's reasons for killing, but there aren't any. Sorcerers kill Curses and finally he understands his role.

Yeah exactly. Yuji turned out the way he is because of all the curses and murder and mahito was only born as a curse because of negative human emotions, it's his nature. Two fractions killing each other without much thought put into it. That's why mahito is one of fav characters, he was always so nonchalant about killing humans because the humans are killing curses like it's the "right" thing. My other favorite curse is jogo because him reuniting with hanami in death and crying tears of joy over sukuna's approval was one of the big moments that got the black and white "jujutsu good curse evil" mindset out of my head

I don't think they're trying to make us feel bad abt mahito at all. I think it's just the payoff, because damn that felt so cathartic seeing him groveling like the bithc that he is. At least that's how i see it. Edit: also, idk how yuji didn't see _geto_ being there, the place is practically an empty field Regarding the the brothers yuji killed, he knew they're humans (or at least partially), that's why he's so conflicted about them.

Straight up crazy action this entire episode, just the way I like it. Itadori is gonna have some gnarly scars and be exhausted after this. I also wonder what Sukuna thinks about all this? 🤔 It was cool to see how the curses and sorcerers are learning about themselves and their abilities from each other. Mahito really made some Nomus and ended up Digivolving into one as well. But my man Todo is too much of a beast. Him clapping Mahito’s hand and clapping his own stump was CRAZY. That bastard really messed him up though and on top of that he said his “Boogie Woogie” is dead which sucks 😔 He needs some medical attention and reverse curse abilities on him ASAP! It is so good to see Itadori going Plus Ultra and whooping Mahito’s ass! So sick to see Itadori become cold and realize that nothing else matters, but his mission to just KILL Mahito and other curses. The visualization of the snow landscape with the rabbits running from the Wolfpack was awesome. Mahito deserves nothing less than to suffer, but that ending, WTF?! I need to see Mahito get obliterated already! Not “Geto” interfering 🤦🏻‍♂️ and does that mean Mei Mei is dead… 😳

itadori always wanted a reason to justify his actions of becoming a jujutsu sorcerer save people kill people save people, but now he just stop looking for all reason he stopped giving explanations for his actions and just do what he thinks need to be done . Like he said "maybe my actions will mean somthing centuries after i die, but i just don care anymore i am a cog and i will kill until i rust away"

Todo had time to crouch down and attempt to use simple domain, but couldn't clap to get out of range of the domain expansion as soon as he saw him going for it. Before anyone tells me you can't, Hanami literally says Todo can get out of range with his technique in season 1.

The reason for his actions at the end, is because technically Mahito is a child, like a year or 2 of age by human standards. So him crying out like that is basically baby got all his toys taken away and has to get punished for misbehaving.

@denizhangupemkdk9412 ok, you are correct in the sense that kids don't usually act like that, but at the same time 15 year old kids also don't look like this nor do they have city destroying capabilities. This is an anime and is in the realm of make believe. That being said I somewhat concede my argument of the maturity but it also brings on the premise of an immaturity. Which is exactly what mahito is, and the act of someone immature is almost identical to that of a spoiled brat getting their toys taken away.

Why are we still calling for Sukuna after ep 17? Why? The dude has 0 thoughts in helping Yuji, only to make him suffer. And besides, right now, he can’t switch willingly. Even then, Yuji wouldn’t dare switch with Sukuna after, again, ep17… And I don’t see the intention of making us feel bad for Mahito. He deserves it. He has no sobbing back story. He was born out of human hatred. And made Yuji suffer since S1. Killed Junpei. Nanami. Nobara. And A TON of humans. And got a kick out of watching Yuji suffer. And Yuji is making him suffer the same way. Literally, “toying with his prey” So this was more satisfying to watch than just pity (especially with that “I am you” speech 👌) I mean, Mahito is a baby curse, that’s why he’s crying like one. I love Mahito as a villain but hate the things he did.

Yuta would probably be able to take Mahito down if he has techiques that attack the soul. (Im sure he does) We have to remember that Mahito is a Special Grade while Itadori, Todo, Nobara and Nanami are First Grades. Thats why it was such a big struggle. But with Yuta being a Special Grade and one that is considered to have potential to be the next Gojo (I mean, they are literally blood relatives), it would probably be alot easier for him to win even by himself.

Idk mahitos power set is quite complex and if it’s a fair fight they both would be at their peak which you have to remebee mahito is a baby he’s 7 months old and has only just unlocked his strongest ability he has learned moves just by seeing them idk what type of potential he has but he’s stated to be the strongest of the disaster curses I’m sure even yuta would have trouble

Okay so two things 1. Todo's boogie woogie is dead. Mahito's idle transfiguration damages the soul and once the soul has been damaged it cannot be repaired. 2. They were not trying to make you feel bad about mahito. They showed his pathetic state four our pleasure. This aint no demon slayer 😂 that pos has no backstory he was truly a curse
