@77pswans Oh my God, yeah, like a lot. I never got it, I was always like, what did he do to garner this much hate? Like I always loved her, but I also knew a lot of people hated Amy for kind of being like a stalker with Sonic, and I could try to defend and her and they would get mad, but even then people didn't get as violently angry about her as they did with their hatred of Charmy. And the best I could get from people for an answer was just that "He was an annoying kid." And in one of the comics where the creators tried to fix that by making Charmy an adult with brain damage from protecting others during an attack or something, people kind of just responded by being like, "Okay, I know we hate him, but he didnt deserve that. Why did you do that to him? Also, he is still annoying so you didn't even fix it." So yeah, he is like really hated for some stupid reason.

It does sound a lot like Kirk's but Jason has a deeper range, his Shadow doesn't sound vocally fried or creaky. Griffith's Shadow is still the GOAT in my book.

On the other hand I feel Jason started out the worst and got a lot better over time. Also Kirk Thornton isn't my cup of tea but I can see why people like him.

Because sega wanted to hire new talent cast in 2010's by voice director, until Jason should have been stayed especially Mike instead of getting rid of them except Mike, so sad to see Jason go. He was the best so far until he gets replaced.

From what I've heard from multiple different sources is that Jason was re-contracted by Sega to do the voices in the games but his contract expired in 2009 and he simply didn't reapply because he didn't like the way the company treated him at the time. No doubt, I've heard rumors that Sega actually has approached him on a few occasions to reprise his role but they always offer him chump change in return for 100's of hours of work.
