I just got hired directly by a company in Japan last week, I currently live in the Phil and have no visa. They said the realistic date for me to go there is April bc of the process. How true that direct hire is only for those already residing in Japan?

Some companies are accepting overseas applicants but for the BOE (Board of Education) they only accept applicants who are already in Japan.

Yay! So happy to see you active again! :) Namiss po kita panuorin! As usual, very informative po ang mga videos niyo. One of the things I really like about you po! Sobrang helpful and generous! :) Btw, if ever you're taking request po, info, opinion and tips po sana kung paano niyo nalalabanan ang homesick at sadness lalu na malayo po kayo sa friends at family na nasa PH. I'm planning to move in JP po sana kaya lang 1 of thr things na naghahadlang sakin is yung pagaalala ko na baka malungkot ako or homesick. I've been living with my family since birth and family oriented ako pero pangarap ko talaga makapunta sa JP. With friends naman, wala ako kakilala sa Japan. Medyo nakakatakot din po kasi yung mga naririnig ko na stories na nadedepressed sila kasi malayo, etc. Sana maging katulad niyo rin ako super happy at enjoy sa Japan may problema man or wala. Ang positive niyo po and always good vibes! Hehe! Thank you po and stay the way you are :)

medyo strict po ang agency ko. If you apply sa agency ko age limit is 40 and may weight limit din po (sadly) :(

Hello Anne, interact requires valid working visa, if you`re tourist here unless you know people from the company you maybe okay but in your case yeah they are strict. You can apply in the agencies in the Philippines. They normally accept applicants who are currently living and working in Japan.

Hello, unfortunately po you can not apply for ANY jobs here in Japan with a temporary visitor's visa. What you can do is to go back to the Philippines, search for an agency and apply with them. :) Best of luck!

Hi po! Question lang po :) concern ko lang po kasi last December my visa for japan was denied (With guarantor po) Tapos ngayon pong March magaapply po ako as English Teacher sa Bison. Makakaapekto po ba un sa application ko? E diba po after 6 months lng ulit pwdeng mag apply ng visa? Thanks po :) BTW. the housing I have in my current placement is free. for the boe direct hire position I was told rent is 11,000¥ per month which is super cheap!
