Don't let any school, or any thing in life dictate your success or happiness. You, are the only one can make it happen for you. In 10 -15 years later, this is all meaningless.

i agree. but that’s what makes Columbia and other places so much more exciting and worthwhile. it’s not just the school. it’s the people you meet there. the connections. the opportunities. i’m not gonna say columbia is the only place with good education. but it does provide a haven of new experiences that i believe only supports the powerhouse that is new york city. ur right, schools don’t lead to success, it’s what you do with the school and what’s around it that does.

@@MatthewSu I live in NYC and I have plenty of friends' kids attended Columbia. Some hate it some like it. You will meet interesting people no matter where you go. It maybe true years ago, where these ivy league schools are where connections are made. But be creative, you can create your own opportunities. There are plenty of ways where you can make connections and build relationships. In this digital age, the world is your new university. I know this sounds weird since I have a son at an Ivy school. But he is the on who enlightened me to understand better about the new world. There is no disappointment in life, only opportunities! Hope you understand. Good luck to you!

I applied for their SEAS undergrad school. and early decision is kinda like priority deadline, except if I were to have been admitted, my decision would be binding, meaning, I have to go there.
