That is so awesome that you let patrons join who can't afford it. I've never heard of anyone doing that.

I'd like to watch a video where the instructor reveals why they are laying down multiple colors. what the reason is. why multiple colors on top of each other. Like, a painter starts with one color and adds another and then you can't even see the original color. there must be a reason that I am missing. thanks

Did you see my last video titled "STOP, don't abandon watercolor" where I demonstrated how I layered the nose of the sheep just as an example? Is that what you mean? I started with a tea consistency pink layer, let it dry. That first layer covered a larger area beyond just the detailed part of the nose and that serves to lay a foundation of color that will hold what I put next together because having one color over a larger area, even when you later add smaller areas of color to PARTS of the prepainted area helps unify everything. Then the next layer I put thicker almost black paint just for the sharp details of the nostrils and mouth. I did that because I could see my line drawing still and those components are important to get in accurately according to the line drawing. I let that dry completely. THEN my final layer was a milk consistency orange/pink mix for the darker parts of the nose flesh area to add that darker color of the nose. Is that what you meant you want explained?

Funny thing about your videos, your curtains closed on this one which is less distracting. Most of the time you can watch your neighbors roll through the stop sign or not even know that it’s there.

Haha that's funny - and also that is great feedback I appreciate!

@@rachelparkervarner I love being able to see outside activity in your videos but that’s just me. (It’s hard for me to be in a building without a clear view outside). This is just one of many things I LOVE about your videos.
