@@iridios6127 that's not a misconception. It's the same thing as messing with the soundboard on a piano. The paint doesn't have the same. You can spray paint an electric guitar because the sound is carried electronically. @@Mr_Jamin007he asked for 10€, the dude gave him 20€ (in advance, aka without knowing how the product would turn out) for a technique that - I hate to say it - is exactly this popular because it is ridiculously easy to learn within about three hours, is extremely formulaic and requires zero imagination. Don't get me wrong, the end result looks good, and it's good on the video creator to pay handsomely for a job decently done. But let's be real here: I give spray painting classes to school kids in the holidays. I would estimate that almost all of them would be able to do this after about one afternoon of instruction - in fact, I don't HAVE TO estimate. We did this exact thing in a workshop last year (just on canvas instead of guitars) and almost all the kids produced results very comparable to this. They also would've known how *not* to damage the guitar with the burner at the end and how not to stain its underside and back. And none of them would've asked for more than $165 per hour of doing this (which is what the channel owner paid for this). Again, no hate to anyone in the video. The result looks nice, a new set of strings for about $180 to $300 will (hopefully) sort out the damage the artist did, and the channel owner is definitely a good egg for paying twice as much as the artist asked for, in advance. I just think all the 'muricans in the comments going "i HaVe No IdEa HoW mUcH hE pAiD hIm [so you weren't actually watching the video...? Because he does it on camera...? And you can quite literally see how much he paid AND that it's twice as much as the artist asks for...?] Or HoW mUcH $20 eUrOs Is WoRtH [yes, someone actually literally wrote that with their own two hands without realising how fucking moronic it reads. Just as a piece of advice: about 1.2 times what $20 are worth] bUt It DeFiNiTeLy WaSn'T eNoUgH" are really making massive fools of themselves. Thank God for internet. We would never know such artists exist otherwise. Amazing work!

I'm not complaining about the artistry, that is freaking awesome! My only concern is that wouldn't the paint affect the strings and cause change in tone and vibration?

It’s really not that big a deal to change the strings if you actually want to play this guitar, but I would personally have this as my “pretty” guitar at the front of my rack that I just love to look at
