Yesterday I wanted to bake a cake but I can't eat much sugar so, I listed the ingredients that I had (ap flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, milk, eggs, etc) and Chat GPT gave me a good chocolate cake recepie, I leave it here in the comment so you can try it, it is good, but as it has no sugar, it has to be paired with something sweet to balance it out. Here is a recipe for a simple chocolate cake that you can make using flour, milk, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, and oil: Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup oil (vegetable or canola oil) 1 cup milk 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda. In a separate mixing bowl, beat the eggs and then add in the oil, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan and allowing it to cool completely on a wire rack.

The milk shake was hilarious. You can also do more than recipes. You can ask it for specific instructions about a certain part of the cooking. You can ask it for variations of certain dishes. Mix in some countries. What is the cultural equivalent of Swiss fondue in Rwanda?
@janetmckenzie146 Жыл бұрын
The shake seemed to be a version of an Indian savory yoghurt drink, although not as sophisticated. But vanilla protein? That was really asking for it. And that was a lot of garlic and onion powder! I’m not sure the average cook would put more than 1/4 of that in. But if it didn’t specify, you never know. Looks promising, but needs some work. Just putting every available cookbook is going to come up with some strange things. Let’s face it, so,e cookbooks are terrific, but others, not so much. And CHATgpt doesn’t have artificial tastebuds!

The soy-milk "snack" I think you overdid it with the salt and garlic/onion powder, and should have used plain unflavoured protein powder. "AI" is kind of a misnomer for this technology tbh, it's more like a collage machine. It takes patterns it understands as "correct" and combines them, same with "AI generated Art" Which is how you end up with garlic powder in a vanilla milkshake: the AI doesn't know what vanilla is, it doesn't know what milkshake is, it doesn't know what garlic is, and it doesn't even know that any of those words have actual meaning. What it does know is that lots of recipes exist that contain a similar enough combination of phrases that it registered as a "correct" order to put words in, so it did.
@sebastiangudino9377 Жыл бұрын
It is very much "Artificial Intelligence" tho. ChatGPT is an adversial neural network. I think what you are thinking about is "Deep Learning" which is something that ChatGPT very much did (Or actually GPT, the actual language model behind it). Which is taking a lot of input data to get better and better at its goal by fine tuning parameters using Gradient Decent. These parameters are then compiled into a single file (A few tens of gigabytes wide) called a model (Or just a tensor sometimes) which contains all the data needed to do the actual generation by doing a lot of lineal algebra of hardware called a TPU (Tensor Processing Unit) Why does It fail at cooking then? Because ChatGPT was not trained to produce recipes, it was trained to produce convincing responses to a given input. Therefore, the current model just produces things that SOUND like recipes. But feasibly there is a theoretical model file that was trained for producing ACCURATE and GOOD recipes that is great at cooking. Of you had that theoretical model file you could plug it into GPT and get a virtual private chef! (but training this would take an ungodly amount of computing power and time and it would not be cheap at all) There is also this thing called "Fine tuning". With it you could take a model, and give it some extra parameters so that it can work even better at a particular goal beyond what the general purpose model can make. This is being used by meta for their own language model "Llama". They released their model file, and then shortly after created something called Codelama. Which is a tensor build on top of Llama to be able to produce much better computer programming code than what the base model can (The base model can produce something that LOOKS like code, but it doesn't really work most of the time) So there is a possibility of somebody creating a fined tuned version of Llama made precisely for cooking, and that would definitely produce results orders of magnitude above what this video showed Is just a matter of doing it, and there is not really much incentive, but the current tech is definitely there
