45:12 is unironically genius is so many ways. The VAs are very closely matched to the original characters, the sound mixing is also very good, and makes me think they paid very close attention to stay true to the reference material. And finally the dub itself; the theme/joke/subject of the script was written to keep the original characterization of the scene, which makes the expressions and actions match perfectly with what they are saying. All in all, an underrated job well done

@@uhhumm-l6o Absolutely, it’s called Ouran High School Host Club, a romcom reverse harem anime from 2006, from a manga series first published in 2002. It’s a popular gateway anime to most anime fans including myself, lots of well known VAs, has a surprisingly high amount of meta humor for a romance, and a great example of a well done sub and dub rendition. I will say they’re jokes that have not aged well because it was certainly made for an audience of its time, but it’s still very enjoyable and pretty quotable too. From a bias standpoint I love it, but without it, it’s a solid 7.5/10 definitely recommend🤌🌹
