just bc i think its weird to say that its much and people (same like ohne, even if hes joking arround) want to make skins now only for the money: its a process to design a skin that takes time, and if u made a skin, doesnt mean it gets added in the game, and even if a skin gets added in the game, it must not be the date when u finished it. so u can work 1 month on a skin, then it get taken in the game after 5 months (most likely it takes longer), and then u make the next skin, and the next, and untill another of your skins get in the game it can take years. so if u get a skin in the game every single month, which is just unrealistic af cause they dont even bring out a new case every month, yeah then its nice. but it wont happen. and if u bring a skin in the game every 2 years: then u have 420k for 2 years. which is 17k per month. sounds nice yes? minus taxes is 8k. its nice, but not crazy at all, considering u actually have to work and there are time where u have to use your own money to survive untill u get actual payment, when the skin is added to the game. its a nice side-earning for people who are in art-business already, or people who dont have anything to do at all and just want to earn money.. but its not a crazy payment compared to other jobs, especially ohnepixel i dont really get cause he earns more in average with even less work but more safety lol

There is as much safety in the CS GO market as there would be in any other random business, especially for an artist. And that is to say, it's not particularly safe. Valve can chose to do whatever they want with the market, and governments can ban it. It's also safe to say that very skilled digital artists are able to create a lot of skins in a relatively short amount of time. Many of the top tier skin makers have several themed collections with dusins of skins each, different iterations for different guns. People churn out color, gun variations for their designs to increase their chances. For any artist, this is absolutely an incredible payment. And you're underplaying Ohne a lot here. He has spent more than 10 thousand hours on CS GO, many more hours scouring databases and market bots etc. I think you have both angles completely wrong here.
