The Tagine is a type of cooking vessel used in North African cuisine, so that’s where the name of the dish comes from. You can make lamb tagine, etc as well, as long as it’s prepared in the tagine itself.

Chicken Tajine is so delicious. It’s named after the pot used to cook it in. Which is an earthenware pot, with a tall cone shaped lid that has a hole in the top. Looks so delicious, I love Middle Eastern cuisine. It’s my favorite. Would love to go to Coachella one day. ❤

I agree with you that chick tajine is delcious. The thing they gave her though was not a real chicken tajin (I have heard that apperently in America they often put rice in tajin, in Morroco they don't). It still looked really good though!

i would love a perspective from one of the food vendors at coachella one day! whether it be someone doing it for the first time, or someone that’s vended regularly with them for years…i’m sure the food vendor booth fees are insane, and having to prep and procure all the ingredients to take to a remote ass location where you might not even break even….probs just ONE of the reasons why the prices are so so high!

This is how I know I’m officially “old”. Bc I have NO desire to go to this festival. It looks like an anxiety attack waiting to happen. I got to some music festivals throughout the year but they’re smaller and in my opinion, better. I went to Burning Man twice. Once when I was 22 and once when I was 31. And the first time, I thought, was great but I think I was actually just young enough not to mind the insanity and when I went the second time I couldn’t wait for it to be over 😂 Like 3 days in I was DONE. 😂
