Not related to the Hoover Stew, but honestly, seeing a man dressed in old era clothing feels refreshingly appealing to my eyes. If only fashion trends also promotes the old trends, imagine the fun world of people with their own style of clothing. But unfortunately, judgemental people and global warming just prevents that.

My grandfather grew up during the Great Depression and then straight into WWII- really different time!! He remembered how mom lining up just to get one can of random food! Love the hat

My energy is still not 💯 but trying to get there. I still have some annoying chest congestion I’m trying to relieve. But I’m going to push through it! @@AaronAbles I totally agree....part of why we are leaving Ca hahah.. Anyways, take it slow...but if the chest tightness takes too long one short dose of steroids helps. I hate them but took them and it helped my lungs because the inflammation is what causes the tightness!

With respect... I feel like you missed the point alot in this. For example those boxers hadn't eaten properly for months/years.. Which impacted heavily on their ability levels. 'throwing' a fight was common... As money was made through losing on purpose. Via gambling syndicates/organised crime. Try boxing after starving your body for a few weeks. One lean, under sized meal a day for a week or two (under medical supervision for safety). The serving sizes you are eating are misleading at best. Hardship can definitely 'build character' - however you don't seem to understand what that era was like :'(
