Those £6 sausage rolls are pretty common up north around Yorkshire way. Chorizo ones are my favourite, but they usually go for between £2-£4 depending on whether it’s from a farm shop or a corner shop type place

just watched this after spending christmas creating my own sausage rolls, mine were pretty special i have to say but im glad to see Ginger Pig came up on top been munching on these for a few years whenever i get the chance, although since Instagram bloggers found them the queue is a bit much for me now, youll need to try mine and let me know views,.

We make our own - BeRo book plain pastry recipe and Cumberland sausage meat topped with grated mature Cheddar before rolling over the pastry - cheese melts out and bakes crispy on the ends = to die for . Like a sausage cheese straw - But always a plain pastry , none of this " rough puff " fanciness . Glaze with brushed egg and again after 15 mins for the perfect glaze . Served at the Christmas eve feast / supper with cold peas pudding and sliced smoked gammon with pickled onions / beetroot / plougmans pickle and buttered Ritz crackers with a few sliced cocktail sausages and pineapple chunks on the plate .

I live in Alabama, Tennessee Valley, I drive a van, so I happen my a bakery early on, sometimes, and I can get a half dozen sausage rolls for 3.99 (4.99 with cheese) but they are tiny things, compared to that monster you divided at 16:25! What a bargain!
