just some advice: don't put the water on full cold, because it will give you a migraine and having a migraine won't help in trying to be productive. I learned the hard way. However throughout the shower or the week slowly turn the hot water down so it gets colder and you have time to adjust

You can take a regular shower and turn down the heat while you shower, then after you are finished you can turn the heat off completely for a bit. I've always taken room temp showers because I'm sensitive to the heat, at the end of each shower I turn off the heat completely for about 30 seconds and imagine that I am a capybara under a waterfall.
