HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES (POKEMON HARD MODE)

1. Only Pokemon with a Bug-typing can be used in battle.
2. I can only try to catch the first Bug-type that I encounter in each area.
3. If a Pokemon faints it cannot be used for the remainder of the run.
4. If my whole team faints then the attempt is over.
5. No items in battle (held items are okay).
6. Set mode enabled.
7. I cannot over-level beyond the highest level of the next gym. The level cap is shown in the overlay.
8. No duplicate species can be caught. Encounters for species that I have caught previously are re-rolled.
9. Any shiny Bug-type can be caught regardless of whether it is the first encounter of an area.

The fact you almost went the entire run with 0 deaths except for 1 on Cynthia is super impressive! My favorite bug pokemon is Heracross because its stag beetle design reminds me a lot of animal crossing, and it helped me a lot in soul silver. :3 I like that female heracross' horn has a butterfly on the end, and the shiny is pink!

A little mistake there, heracross isnt based on stag beetle, that is pinsir. Heracross is based on Hercules/Heracles beetle. Still, heracross is great and im glad you like it

I'm doing a run with my favorite pokemon ever, ninjask, and it absolutely destroyed the 7th gym, fury cutter + metronome and those mons were folding faster that faulty beach chairs I started the game almost instantly with a nincada egg, so you already know I have shedinja as well, and MY GOD, absolutely NO ONE could touch me in the fighting type gym, wonder guard + aerial ace + the occasional affection endure for the 2 total machokes that had rock type moves, it's probably the funnest gym experience I've ever had

My favourite bug type Pokémon is Mega Scizor, not only it has a really amazing design, but it can learn some really powerful moves like "X scissor" which is really useful to have on a bug type like Scizor even though the bug type is regarded as the weakest type in all of Pokémon

To answer the community question. My favorite bug type will always be Scolipede. Gen 5 was my first gen and I took him all the way to the end of the game on my first one. I love this weird bug horse friend.
