Charged spells take a fourth of the cost as well as getting a dmg increase, also some enemies in boss rooms have increased aggro range so u can use something like cannon of haima or an aoe spell to get their attention outside boss room and blast them at fog gate

Elden Ring was my first souls game, and didn't really struggle to much with hardly any of the bosses. Malenia was the only 1 that took more than a few tries for me. Build I was using wasn't working, so swapped to my previous Int/Dex build with Moonveil/Astel and she went down 1st attempt. Rest of the bosses were only 2-3 attempts max, mot of them 1st tries.

@@nael_luna Oh I'm enjoying the game, I still find it a bit of a challenge. I think it's just the build that I was using was doing so well with the damage output and survivability. Been testing out other builds, like my current black flame with Godlsayer Greatsword and Godskin Peeler which is a fun build. But in terms of my Int/Dex Spellsword build, it's just lacking. I'm sure if I want more of a challenge I could try other builds as well. My starting class was the Wretch on this character just for that reason.

12:00 I recommend storm stomp when you like heavy attacks. It staggers surprisingly many enemies long enough to get a charged heavy in. Not sure if the speed increase in ascended annulls that

Funny idea for a challenge run: You must fight as your opponent, meaning is you fight a random enemy, you can only use their equipment, same with bosses, so if you were to fight renalla, you could only use her equipment and spells and attacks, so she would be a pain. You should probably start this on a NG+1, so you have all the weapons already.

Played the Ascended Mod - Age of Stars over my christmas holyday and actually managed to beat it. Took 165hrs in total, but it was the most rewarding feeling ever
