One thing I did to bring my weighted Pullup from 80 lbs to 135 plz in 3 months was I greased with my 6 rep max, and at the end of every week it went up to 7-9 reps and then my one rep max was about 5 lbs higher every week, and that was consistent over those 3 months. The official WR is 120kg by MathzwZalt (which in my opinion wasn’t rep because of the Kipping). But the most clean and heavy rep in pull up that I have ever seen was 115kg by Ludo adamantium (the king of pull ups) which executed the rep without Kipping and with the chin clearly over the bar (with a little bit of deadstop). For all of those who say that smaev is the strongest and that I am wrong just know that all of his reps aren’t valid because of the Kipping… He is clearly strong, but not the strongest in my opinion. Strong does not mean just pulling with the most weight and not giving a damn about the form but executing the rep that is th closest to perfection in terms of form and power
@tomatoma49452 жыл бұрын
is not rules just that chin should be above bar? thats the only rule i know exists.
@Nassim-sn4ny2 жыл бұрын
It’s actually a lot harder than you think. In order to be valid, the rules are very strict. Here are the most important: 1) chin must be OVER the bar. 2) your elbows need to be lockout (at the start of the rep). 3) legs need be completely straight (NO KIPPING, not even a slight bend on the knees). 4) the rep must be done in a fluid way (which means that when you pull up, you cannot wait or stop in the middle and go back Down then pull again. The pulling movements must be done explosively in order to get the chin over the bar directly without the grind). Sorry if I did some mistakes, English isn’t’ fluent 😅.
