Josh. For the track events, start tapping nearly exactly as the flag fully fades out (the best flags to use for this are ones that have a cross, e.g. GBR, JAM). It's slightly more consistent than the whole counting thing, because you can always count at different speeds, but the flag fades out at the same speed all the time.

Josh. For the hurdles your holding the stick when jumping which makes your hurdle jump last longer but also slows you down. Just flicking the stick to jump is quicker and riskier but much quicker

When doing the running when your starting, you tap to go but then you pause for half a second before you start tapping fast to get to the green on your starts you just need to keep tapping to get yourself to the green as fast as possible so your at maximum speed as early as you can
