You know that if you grab an animal and don’t taxidermy it there’s an option to where you can go back save it you just have to go to the trophy lodge or something like that

Also you coulda taxed that albino turkey if you went to your lodge and went to trophy manager there is a thingy that says last unsaved harvest so you coulda pressed taxidermy on that. Also I suggest you don’t try get the mountain goat if you do come back because I know people who have 5k plus hours in this game and don’t have a rare mountain goat but have a rare of every other species. Albino mountain goat is Impossible unless you get extremely lucky because they’re naturally white and also top 10 hardest melas to kill in cotw. Mountain goat is 3 or 4 and those two are the only rares for mountain goat.

I had lost the bison in the first clip a couple days before so was stubbornly looking for it again and every run I’d take out a hell of a lot of mule deer with more bison but did not notice one had spawned as I had tunnel vision for that bison haha

For the turkey you should have not harvested the female after the albino then gone to your outpost and go to trophy manager and then click most recent unsaved harvest then you coulda saved it or taxed it

Luck definitely plays a part in this game it is RNG after all but I was also grinding the map for a couple weeks overall. I started grinding a week before I started recording and was recording for nearly a week and still grinding during and off camera

First off thank you for watching, means a lot! Secondly, people familiar with the game and how respawns work don’t seem to be. If you kill enough animals rares will spawn eventually, sometimes it can take 40 kills sometimes 500 sometimes 1-5k+. I will show more of the kills on the commons I grind next time for the people that aren’t familiar/slow/salty. I just didn’t want to make the video very long and boring by showing me killing the same things over and over. I thought 35 mins was too long as it is

If you’re referring to the purple fireworks one it was available for a limited time as part of a new years thing they did so there is a chance they could do it again next month. All I had to do was log in between a certain period of time and got it, hope this helps

I do not have the knowledge of how to mod I struggle to get my OBS to record sometimes lol. Modding the map would completely defeat the purpose of the content I am trying to make, it would be redundant. I cut the video because it would have been hours and hours of uncut footage no one will watch that. I played the game for 10s of hours and almost a week, you know how grinding works right? You kill enough animals and rares will spawn. I did think to split the vid up into multiple parts because I had a feeling slow people would think I am getting these back to back kills but they were days apart it took almost 1 day per rare kill mate stop hating, thanks for watching tho 🙏❤️
