@@itsstuddy I thought, some of the strats you used, look familiar! I am so sorry you got stuck in the first level while trying for the glitch. That has never happened to me personally. And sorry for the brutal death (perfect grenade) in the court room. What you can do instead: When the phase two starts (helicopter noises), crouch to the right table (behind you) and wait for the Supersoldat (big guy) to drop. Take him out. (Always check the other side! Sometimes soldiers find their way there.) After Supersoldat 1 (right side) crouch back to the left side and wait for the 2nd Supersoldat. After you kill him, the door opens and a dog comes running. Take him out and then run upstairs (like you would in phase 3). The best case scenario is when you don’t get hit by any soldiers, because then you have a full 100 health medpack to pick up before you running upstairs. That gives you 150-100 health for the third phase. This might help you survive the courtroom fight more easily. I recommend practicing on IADI difficulty - make strategic saves to practice the sections you struggle with. Good luck!

I feel you there with the easy games, I tend to think of easy games with varying times like Ice Age: Scrat's Nutty Adventure (6-10 hours), Donut County (2-4 hours) and Skyrim(~75-~125 hours), all of them 1-3/10 but take a bit of time to get the platinum, Skyrim especially.

I am at the same point, just have Mein Leben and had a number of failed attempts, am able to No death every area of the game on IADI many times so just need to string it all together. Got as far as Venus twice but it’s always something silly that ends the run so I put it on hold for the time being as had a lot of stressful stuff going on in my life at the time I was doing the attempts so plan to pick it back up when things are more settled down. Don’t worry about any of the Souls games tho, every one of them is a hell of a lot easier than Mein Leben. I also saw you were looking at Vanquish in the PSN store. Highly recommend that game as it’s absolutely fantastic and also a Platinum to be really proud of. (I have all 4 Stacks of Vanquish).

This brings back some excruciatingly painful memories. It took me 26 attempts to beat mein leben. I wasn’t as smart as you either. I played through the campaign on normal, and the spike in difficulty was unbelievable. It honestly demoralised me to the point where there was no euphoria upon getting the platinum - just sheer relief. I had plans to beat all the DLC but I’ve never booted the game up since!

Also with picking games on the reviews and stars, you could just go off of the games home screen on PSN. One example is the new Silent Hill 2 Remake, it currently has 13k reviews and it's score when you search it on PlayStation is 4.88 and it rounds it up to 5 stars. Honestly that idea could be really interesting, would love to see what games you plat that is something like 2 stars

Great video was really entertaining to watch, wolfenstein 2 is pretty difficult even after getting the platinum twice but it helped me at least to practice a bit on i am death incarnate since it's the same as mein leben just with save games to get some strategies for pretty much every battle.

Yeah, I think one important factor to getting Mein Leben is to practice the levels on Death Incarnate until you can beat them consistently without dying. I think that Eva’s Hammer requires more practice because of the movement in the wheelchair. Other than that, the key is to just keep practicing.

37:32 Same shit happened to me. Was such a pain in the ass. Had to do a whole new playthrough for it. Will be fun watching the Mein Leben playthrough. I'd recommend practicing the tough sections on Death Incarnate so that way if you die you aren't going back to the beginning of the game to rewatch the unskippable intro. If you do enough practice you'll probably be able to do Mein Leben in less than 10 runs! Good luck. Your channel is great.

The soulsbourne games aren't particularly difficult they usually just need a few playthroughs to collect and upgrade weapons. I think starting with Dark Souls remastered and learning about how weapons and scaling work is the key to getting the other games done. I am nowhere near a great gamer and yes there are bosses that are tough but I have platinumed all soulsbourne games. It can be done it just takes a bit of time with the multiple playthroughs.

I feel like you should try Baldurs Gate 3. Very fun game. It’s apparently rated at 10/10 difficulty but once you learn a couple good builds the game is very challenging but nothing too crazy. Should join the golden dice club

You must be using REALLY slow strategies for Mein Leben, my run took 3.5 hours on the successful attempt. Good luck! Also maybe you could do a playthrough version of these videos, after all PSNP guides include a number of playthroughs. You could do 1 playthrough, 2-3 playthroughs, plus a game with many playthroughs (such as roguelikes, for example The Binding of Isaac is 50 playthroughs)

Man seeing Sniper Elite 2 makes me wanna finish my own Sniper Elite 4 platinum, but realistic difficulty was so incredibly annoying. As soon as they see you they'll be on your ass 24/7 and JUST.WON'T.GO.AWAY ... Wolfenstein II has always been on my list, but I'm pretty sure my controllers won't survive that. Edit: As someone who has gotten every Souls game trophy out there, let me tell you: They have NOTHING on Wolfenstein II or pretty much any permadeath game that takes away your checkpoints/saves.

Beat mein liben a few months back and I would say one thing you should do to make it alot easier is to play on "I am death incarnate" 1-2 times back to back then the parts you get killed the most on make a manual save and practice those parts 10-20 times and set a bench mark for example let's say you set a bench mark for having to beat a section 5 times in a row without getting killed you would then go to your next section you struggle on untill you master it. Mein leben is just trial and error so I believe one day you can do it it just takes time.
