I ATTEND OH SO RETRO CLASSIC CAR SHOW IN MARGATE!

Welcome back all,
In this weeks video we head down to Margate to attend OhSoRetro show! This is a classic car show which is normally the show season closer for us, with a wide variety of classics making the journey to the Kent coast.
There was some really unique classics, including a custom droop snoop Mk1 escort estate. I also enjoyed looking around a Honda Z city car, which I've never spotted at a show before. The only time I have spotted a Z city car was at an auction and that one wasn't very roadworthy!
I loved how big the auto jumble was at OhSoRetro and it was nice to have a browse in their own merch tent, as there's always really cool designed clothing and accessories that I can never resist!

My first car was a 1986 fiesta 957 pop plus (with headrests!). White and got some XR2 pepper pots. I was the bomb. Dream was red XR2 but with black and stripes interior.

Two cars stood out for me, the brown Mk1 Escort at 7:25, I would love to own that, my first car was a 1300, 2 door in that colour, need I say more lol. The other was the Blue Sierra XR4 Estate build at 5:30, I did a google on that and I was really like to see someone do a roadtest on that car because it's unique and I'd like to know the back story with it.

The white mk3 was probably an RS1800, they had a 130 zetec & same body kit as an XR2I. Great videos & great to see the enthusiasm for the older cars. I’ve even bought myself a mk2!

Yes, there's even an LS1 badge on the side of the Granada, suggesting it's a Chevy V8. Probably from a Corvette.

i think mk3 fiestas had green piping on RST, blue on XR2i all escort estates were mk1, they just changed the front wings to mk2 looky-like, bet those are hard to get now... that WAS a ford escort, rare car, a poverty version of the squire, 100e based, your dad will know.. keep it up young man

The little estate car you were not sure about was a Ford Squire. An estate 100e en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Squire

It is actually an Escort. Ford's first use of the name. The Squire was a slightly posher version (mainly by having a strip of fake wood trim on the sides).

She would! The escort is a long project. I’m currently removing the underseal and it’s a monotonous task that needs to be done! Once that is complete I will spray the underside and finally fit my engine 😁
