For a long time our 'rivalry' with Germany consisted of the Germans winning everything and probably not getting too hung up about England. The problem with Southgate is they he doesn't seem to get the best of our the players when it really matters however he has certainly overseen a positive change in atmosphere surrounding the national team. I was lucky to get a ticket but 2 of my mates didn’t and they were marched back to the city centre via the Gorbles with another 1000 ticketless England fans! Absolute mayhem! Theres no way this is a friendly and every time we play each it gets the adrenaline going. You need to get to a 2nd City Derby Villa v Blues (that’s if whenever we play each other again!) as it’s England’s biggest derby by far due to the sheer hatred.
