Interestingly enough though, this is the first IBM system I've seen that'll stop after 4 rounds/1 timer cycle - normally as long as there's an active alarm, the timer will just keep going until the alarm is cleared.

I have a Standard Electric Time TAX-3M, another master code panel. It can be configured to either do four rounds, or continue until the initiating device is reset. I actually have an Autocall panel that does that.
