If you're confused about the lore..the game is similar to a series of short stories by Robert W. Chambers called "The King in Yellow" as the "evil writings" on the walls beg you to stay it ends with "Hastur's Plea" once again telling you to stay. In the play, Hastur is the King in Yellow which eerily lines up with the Baby in Yellow and his plea for you to stay and not escape. Now for "Pickman's madness" there is a short story called Pickman's Model by H.P Lovecraft which is about a painter who painted horrific paintings of monsters filled with terror and gore, people thought that he was a "mad man" and resented him. One of his friends went to his art gallery and was troubled when a note attached to the final painting, he discovered that none of Pickman's paintings were fiction and all the monsters and horrors in his paintings were very much real. When you look at the TV's and die it is similar to an event in "The King in Yellow" In the story when you look at "The Yellow Sign" you go mad (insane) and die.

Theory for next update: since all the updates are related to the babies plushies, eg; bunny ( white bunny escape update ) and cat ( black cat update ). The ram/sheep is all thats left so maybe its going to be a sleeping update because sheeps are often used for the dreams stuff, like the sheep jumping over the fence

The sheep was already used. The plushies have to do with the story, and the order is backwards from the told stories to what we do. I think every chapter is a different person, the first being represented by a sheep. That one ends with the baby consuming the babysitter, or the sheep/ram. Then the white rabbit (a new character, not the same sitter) discovers the aftermath and is just like "nope I'm out" and I'm guessing was the first to disobey the baby, since they managed to escape. Now the black cat update matches almost word for word with the book. The doctor says "Why have you brought him here?" and the last line in the story is "I never should have brought him here!" I'm thinking the next update will have something to do with the doctor, seeing as the doctor symbolism is everywhere, including the plushies.

Fun fact the baby's father knew he was a demon and the black cat told him in the ending the baby is trying to kill me and then he came if you don't know the guy who came at the end was his father the king his father is the king so the black cat was on our side and trying to help us and he was not on the baby's side he thought the black cat was but he knew the black cat was not with him so the king is actually he father and you just saw his father at the end don't thank me thank the black cat
