I Battled My Teammate James Deane at Formula Drift ATL

My first event back was a wild one! We chased the rain, gremlins, and had took part in my first seeding bracket only to be matched up with my teammate ‪@JamesDeane130‬ in the Top 32!! Not the man whose day I wanted to ruin when I signed up for two rounds this year, but we were pumped to go all out and put on a show no matter what happened or who won.

Watching from Ireland and all I want to say is when are you coming to drift masters where there is clearly better judges and a way better format miss watching you shreed for a crazy qualifying lap 2025 RTR in drift masters

Hate the game not the player, but the judge's/ "new rules" or lack of rules ruined round 2 sorry not sorry. So confused and heated by decisions that it took most of the enjoyment out of it.

The seeding has been great. The rule changes that came along with it not so great. Hated seeing a loss to a guy who went off course and didnt have control of his car over the line.

How awesome was it watching yourself with the little ones in the golf cart !! Love the answer "That's the new guys car" and when asked if the spare parts would be needed the reply "Of course !!" Hahaha that was to good mate. Also those shoes that Ben's partner made for Vaughan were the coolest Nikes i have ever seen........they would sell like hotcakes if Nike released them 💯👌

Never stops amazing me how awful and blind the fd judges are. That's why they have been loosing so much support the last few years. Any drift comp with zones that says "we will allow 4 tires off and not incomplete" is just absurd. It's another way for the judges to make the calls they want instead of calling the actual winner who stayed on line and completed the run.

I dont know if all the drivers agreed with the changes to the rules (or if it was more like, heres the rules, you need to abide by them or else) but i just dont understand why straightening and going 3 tires off isnt a 0 anymore. I dont think FD understands theres now strats you can work in where you straighten on purpose to save tire. Im sure theres other things you can come up with (i dont even drift myself, just from watching i know a fraction of a percent about drifting)... and like how do they even judge? They dont look at the footage anymore? Even in Adam's case. Its like they're deciding who wins without reviewing the video.

Man what would it take to get some drift experience, i grew up around dirt track racing, and was in my moms belly in Bonneville, ive been building a s197 for the last 4 and a half years, now has a 302 cubic inch stroker. a long list of mods, problem is i live in the middle of no where wyoming. Drifting and competing is a dream ive been working towards for 10 years, i am 28 now. i work full time, and have my own shop, dreams dont get made around here, praying one day to be sliding my stang on a track. She is bright yellow, and im pretty sure im the only guy down here like me. Anyways just day dreaming of drifting with yall, i once made a video drifting around a local coffee shop in my stang it got 150k views on tik tok, for a nobody i can drive.
