Day 366 of posting a cool animal fact: Male giraffes with dark spots are more dominant than lighter spotted giraffes! Scientists discovered that for some reason, giraffes with dark spots were more dominant and tended to be more anti-social! Dark spotted male giraffes tend to be more attractive to female giraffes, so they tend to move between herds, rather than sticking in one place. In contrast, lighter spotted giraffes will stick to their groups. This is interesting because scientists initially assumed darker spots were just a sign of age but this doesn't seem to be the case, as a study showed some males got lighter in colour overtime rather than darker! The exact reason why some giraffe's spots are darker aren't known but it's assumed to be a combination of multiple factors. So in conclusion: female giraffes like emo boys.

If you don't have the key and you jump up there right out of the red pipe you're stuck with no way to get back, die, or open the door. It's obvious that you should only go up there with a key and you have some time to see that before you are out of the pipe and it makes sense to have the key, so I agree with Panga that it's not a really big deal, but it _is_ a way to soft-lock yourself, and it's a bit strange to have that in a level and not realize it's a potential soft-lock and fix it. A simple spike would've fixed it.
