Mac and Puff, two characters that change the game up entirely. You have to play a different game when fighting them. Now I'd argue one of them makes the game absolutely unfun, but that's just my opinion. Still love HBox but god I am not a fan of his choice lol

Little Mac's design forces you to camp, abuse projectiles and plats, and whatever cheese you have at your disposal to win. It's impossible to contend with Mac in his element unless you have disjoints or something that can contend with Mac's insanely fast, strong, and safe ground kit. Hbox just kinda went in and got punished every single time, and he's also not too great at edgeguarding him. Peanut played patient and won.

@@citrusthepenguin I definitely don't think he forces anyone to abuse projectiles. I've fought plenty of Macs and honestly he's one of the most fun characters to fight against. At least to me that is. If you don't know how to punish Mac or just generally how to challenge him then yeah projectiles will usually work out fine, but the game is much more exciting when you actually get in there

@@JoshJoshua64 Little Mac's ground moves are too fast, powerful, and safe for you to challenge head-on, you're locked in to a defensive playstyle unless you wanna go in every time and get your shit shoved in, like what happened to hbox here. The puff mac MU revolves around a lot of camping and fthrow. Jigglypuff doesn't have any projectiles or disjoints to reliably take on a grounded Mac and pound is unsafe due to his armored smash attacks. You have to play carefully until you can get a grab and force him offstage, where he's the most vulnerable. You also have to be careful and watch for Mac's unsafe yet dangerous up b and counter, which he uses for recovering, getting out of juggles, and combo breaking. If you just mindlessly jump into Mac over and over, you will die.

@@JoshJoshua64 the difference between Little Mac and Jigglypuff is that Jigglypuff's design doesn't outright force you to play boring or campy in order to win. She's harder to combo and has a threatening offstage presence, but said characters can still juggle her in the air and mix up their recoveries without having to significantly change their playstyle. Good puffs will force you to play patient, yes, but not to the point that you're required to play lame so that you don't die at 10% the exception is if you main min min
