@Thinknoodles Here are some thoughts. Earlier in the game, Thin Man's neck was snapped. In the ending, his neck was straight. In LN1, the vengeful Thin Man (Mono) searched for Six over her betrayal. But throughout his journey to the Maw, Thin Man's anger soon turned to despair, feeling guilty of distorting reality. So out of desperation, he hanged himself, thinking that would break the cycle. But it failed as Thin Man's spirit was trapped inside the Signal Tower, setting up for the events in LN2. However, Thin Man before killing himself left a letter to The Lady (Six), warning her of the nightmarish time loop. Like how Mono became Thin Man, Six became The Lady who eerily hummed the same tune as the music box that greatly resemble the Maw itself. Both The Lady and Six were similar in a way, they had somewhat special connections with the Nomes that Six only to have shown any sort of "compassion" towards.. in LN2, boss Six's purple safe space looked a lot like The Lady's lair. Six was angry with Mono for destorying the only thing she ever loved - the music box and her world. Consumed by anger and taken over by evil, Six abandoned Mono, causing the endless cycles of nightmares. The five Ladies were all previous Sixes throughout multiple cycles. In LN1, The fifth Lady only realised she made horrible mistake that caused the world's doom after finding Thin Man's suicide note. But it was too late. She didn't break mirrors because of vanity and beauty, she did it because she was ashamed of herself and regretted her misdeeds. As Six, she was the little nightmare. Now, The Lady saw herself as a monster while also struggling to maintain her innocence and virtue she lost long ago..such as collecting dolls, clinging on to the remnants of her childhood... The Lady also knew the mirrors were to be used against her so she had them destroyed and the children imprisoned or enslaved as Nomes. Like how Thin Man tried to stop Mono, The Lady tried to stop Six. But when Six defeated her, The Lady strangely didn't put up a fight or cower in fear or attempt to escape, she appeared to have presented her neck openly for Six to devour. The Lady knew what was coming and accepted her inevitable fate, hoping that the next cycle would change and end differently...Mono dreamt of Thin Man then later killed him..Six dreamt of The Lady then later killed her. Thin Man and The Lady were the future selves of Mono and Six trying to break the nightmarish cycle, only to have failed. In LN3, DLC or another sequel, all would be revealed of who/what is controlling Mono and Six's grim destinies and will Mono and Six ever break free of the little nightmares that they've been set up to become? But hey, that's just a theory.

This isnt a sequel. Its a prequel. It means after Six betrayed Mono, Little Nightmare 1 starts. In the secret ending, Six says after her glitch disappear, she says: Feed me. And then what do you guess? In Little Nightmares 1 she was starving as well. And has been REALLY hungry that she went insane and ate a gnome.

I think this game is about how little kids just want to be small forever and have their own little adventures, but maybe some tragic experience makes the kid think less about the adventures and learns to grow up

I think that it will be a spoiler of think but in the end, the secret ending we will see that Six has her hunger again and a shadowed version of Six is telling her to return to the Maw so that she could restore her hunger. Note: I have played the game and also saw this ending that is why I know. Sorry think I think it will be a spoiler of You

Now that I think about it, every time Mono was nearing the door, in the hallway, Six is always the one to pull him back from the television. I really hate this ending. Everything about it. The fact Six betrayed them when she was saved 2 times, and the fact you become Thin Man at the end. Also, I hate this entire game. Little Nightmares 1 made so much more sense and it was a lot more fun to play. I’ll never play this game knowing this.

The explanation is Mono rescues Six from a prison in an old cabin found in the forest then Mono defeats The Thin Man (adult Mono) So adult mono tries to save little mono from evil Six That's because adult Mono kidnaps Six so that mono doesn't get betrayed by Six So the Signal tower uses Six's memory to turn big and when the mono destroys the instrument, the Signal tower loses control. So that's why Six turns into his small self. So it's like a life cycle Another explanation: At the beginning of this game a hallway appears with a door at the end, and when you are in the hospital there is a TV which has a very strong signal and mono can enter and open the door then you exit the TV because it is pulled by Six so that the mono can come out of the TV. when mono opens the door so adult mono (skinny man) mono trick to open the door so adult mono can save mono from betrayal Six

actually in the game you are trapped in a time loop the thin man tried to protect mono because he knew what six was going to do betray us so Thin man is the future mono WOW my opinion : way better than littlr nightmares 1 btw this is a prequel to little nightmares 1 beacause first six was trapped into hunters house and that was before she finds the raincoat second when six let us trapped in the nightmares she did this because if you have played little nightmares 1 you will know that six has hunger problems so she had to decide to trap mono into nightmares or to eat him alive and 3rd bc in the secret ending six's shadow looks at the maw (The place that the first game took part in) if you want more info you can find it in a lot of channels that was it hope i helped you have a nice day
